- FOUNDRY is a first-person factory building simulation set in an endless procedurally generated voxel world. While you start small by crafting your first items and machines by hand, you will soon find yourself surrounded by a large sci-fi factory doing the work for you. You need to expand your factory by building more production lines, conveyor belts and pipes while keeping a stable power supply for your growing energy demands. By conducting research, you will unlock more advanced, complex and faster technology to optimize the design and maximize the output of your factory. Solo or cooperatively with friends!

#Foundry #StayEffective #LetsPlay - Hry
I've been watching you from the earlier Factorio days and entirely through the DSP plays, and it never ceases to amaze me how quickly you grasp the concepts of ratios and builds in every game. It's always very calming. I know there's a lot of math in the background but it is always wonderful to see how you put it all together. I've been enjoying this franchise as well, and I always love the "well I need 2, so let's do 30" approach to every problem. Congrats on 200k, and Stay Effective!
Your bus is inspiring. I was trying to figure out how I'd structure one, and the split/ramp under trick is so neat and clean. Loving this play through
Hey Nilaus. Point at an assembly machine with a recipe and Ctrl Q to place another assembler with the same recipe instead of copy and paste.
I love how you're not afraid to go large scale. I've been making small little foundations for different sites, but you just connect everything on a single massive foundation, lol! That's Nilaus for you, not afraid to go full industrial-scale!
I love that the game is basically factorio but in 3D. too many factory games tried too hard to do their own thing, missing what made factorio so good. no one seemed to realize that people kinda do want factorio but 3D. and even better, we have a game that is the best of factorio and the best of minecraft.
Well, it's kinda missing enemies that are playing a big part in Factorio and probably something Factorio players would be looking for.
Not me, though. I like chill factory builders.
I agree, i really didnt enjoy how hard it was to line stuff up properly in satisfactory, i much prefer the voxel approach of this.
@@lainverse a lot of people prefered to play factorio without enemies. but I'm talking more about the factory mechanics aspects of the game.
though it's fair to say the game is still early access, it's possible we are still going to see enemies in the future.
I absolutely love your "first look"/"let's play" vids. very calming and super informative.
I'm going to be honest, this is one of the games I've been most interested in for you to play. I adored the first time you made videos about it and just something about it really grabs me.
Congrats on the 200k!! I always enjoy your videos xD
200k subs lets gooooo!
Enjoyable as always. I really like the clean and organized way you build things.
Love the series - I always build my bases along with your youtube videos - Thanks!
Thanks for pioneering this content! Great job
yes please make more videos, i thoroughly enjoyed following along as i played
Glad to see you hit 200k! Foundry seems like an interesting game... I hope further updates refine the build system, it seems pretty clunky
Would definitely love to see more :)
I unabashedly always watch your automation game videos to pick up building layout techniques. Please make more content for this game when you have time. o7
Keep this series going...You are a beast at this game
New subscriber here please keep making these videos very informative and entertaining thanks for the great useful content. I'll also add I appreciate that you don't do the skipping and shortening it really helps to see things go together start to finish.
another great vid thanks Nilaus, I'm enjoying Foundry so far.
i really prefer ur educational style, thats what i was searching :)
Great episode. Game looks great. Please continue
Looks like a solid game. 😊
Subscribed and liked. I appreciated your rational approach to asking for subscription. :) not that I should be surprised you were logical about it! Great content (and thanks for the dsp blueprints!)
The explosives are so satisfying.
1:20 Loved that cheeky little comment about LOTR... Keep up the great content Nilaus. I'm really digging this game and your playthrough(?) of it.
I am kind of gun shy about new factory games. Some get over complicated really quick. I started watching your series on this and it looks like a game I may enjoy. You do your videos very well. I have watched a lot of them on different games. Especially Captain of Industries. You explain things at a good pace and very informative. I would love to see where this game and series goes. Keep up the good work.
for loader, put the cursor on the port you want it to connect to, not just randomly on the building. then it always works.
Thats true, but often the default type is wrong and I have to swap in / out again. It behaves inconsisten.
Thank you for a good video!
1 assembler for bulding blocks will feed 5 red science pack assemblers. 2 assemblers for machinery parts to feed the 5 red science packs, but it will back up, so it's fine if all you need is 60 per minute. Just know that you will need a @#!? ton of plates to make the red and blue science packets. I have 6 research stations set up now. I probably could add more. The red science unlocks a lot of stuff. I am already burned out for the day, just getting most of it unlocked.
thx for all tips
You can get to the greenhouse and with red and blue science also how to craft biomass as well. I am just about to make concrete myself and start the green science packs process. Yes also add more research stations as it will make it go much faster I heard you also mention this in the video and you being a big time Factorio player you will know just what to do I have watched your dyson sphere program videos, Factorio the mega base and the death world run and many more. Thanks Nilaus keep at it 200k is around the corner.
To all of you saying this game is like factorio...
"If my grandmother had wheels she would have been a bike" -cit
congratz on 200k
ngl, I like that fact it seem fairly easy to work one's way into subterranean spaces... I'd probably be in the process of moving everything into a vaguely dwarf/Ixian inspired underground facility at this point lol.
Awesome, love the science build on a separate bus so as not to rob the main bus of resources.
It’s extra important in this game as you have major competition for items you use to build with going into science, even in the early game.
The game really reminds me of Fortresscraft. Or is that just me? ^^
There is a option in the settings that allows you to copy and paste recipes without opening the Tablet.
Stay effective!!
think im gonna restart and try that bus tech :) i started well but my base is starting to be very messy
Your ship has changed position, how did you move it?
If I could subscribe again I would! Fun series, thanks!
What version did I play, like a year ago? Was there a big upgrade?
Looks a lot like what factorio 2 should be. Also cheaper... Wishlisted for now but will definitely be buying this
Interesting, so factorio meets minecraft.
Going full circle, as I never played industry craft mod.
I'm trying to watch other people to spoil me all the game... but man, i can't! I wonna see it from u! U are too good at doing stuff and not bore people 😉
More please
looks good but whats a word for less than SATISFACTORY (pun intended) is the map bigger or smaller then pun lol
So Satisfactory with worse graphics but actually dynamic/generated landscape. Interesting... I always thought the biggest mistake Satisfactory did was to have a fixed map.
This is a beautiful game but I really dislike the ka-wham of the machines working. It's just way too loud and a tad too slow.
Can always turn volume down.
