    you need to read more of the details, the extractor upgrade you researched hinted at the fact it can output 2 full belts when it was upgraded, which when combined with the belt speed upgrade hints at the extractors can end up being super powerful.

    • @milanstevic8424
      @milanstevic8424 Před 25 dny +9

      And you basically want to maximize output to at least one full belt (which is at max belt speed / sec), not only you're gathering numbers faster, but also many locations become reusable, so when smaller numbers become obsolete, you can redirect them for more complex production. It's a neat game, I just wish there was more hindrance/power/cost/friction of some sort.

    You would be amazing at mobile game ads with how unsatisfying your design for 16 was by 18:37, all the strain on one 3 generator, while the conveyors for adding 12s and 4s doesn’t even connect to one bridger, yes this was only written because it was absolutely frustrating and I would’ve played the game because of it if I could, 10/10 great advertisement for the game. The other day I watched a video about "integer complexity" in which a guy in the video talk about how many 1s would it need to create a number with addition, multiplication, then later on subtraction and division, the concept would be really useful for this game as you could have a general sense in how to figure out an optimal set up for making a certain number with the least amount of required input.

    You should have taken the main converter-belt and used it as a random input. Meaning all numbers should in theory be obtainable through putting in a number close to that range plus the converter belt. This would mean that until you get multipliers which will do the higher numbers you don't do anything.

    Hm, I like factory games, and I can also enjoy abstract and niche games, but somehow this misses the mark for me. Most factory games have you solve multiple puzzles, or on multiple "layers" (building designs, overall architecture, throughput on a micro level, and balancing progress and improving your infrastructure), but this one seems kind of one dimensional to me. It makes it accessible in a weird way, but for me it's kind of missing the "game" mark, and feels more like an educational experience.

    • @milanstevic8424
      @milanstevic8424 Před 26 dny +2

      I get what you mean, but you'd be surprised, it scales pretty cleverly. Algebra sneaks up from behind! The game gets very interesting as it progresses, in my experience, and the gameplay shown in this video resembles something similar to Factorio spaghetti, i.e. it's not really representative of true play. For example as soon as you master the belt throughput optimization, you progress onto modular design and reusable circuitry. In the mid-game the designs get very streamlined, but you juggle between the factories in a vast play area. Suddenly you want to redirect that 36 factory because you can clone a place that can do x12 and a place that will subtract 5 for your current goal of 427. Yes it's abstract, but in a sense you build your own commodities and factory chains with this game and every solution is different.

    So many of these questions are solved by a "consciousness" approach. People are like antennae, and some are tuned into parts of this singular consciousness in such a way that they perceive other beings. We are all capable of this, and sometimes stress (like being near death) causes us to perceive these other aspects of reality.
    The downside is we need to accept that both angels and demons are also like this - some reflecting and having their "person" in the higher realms of consciousness, some in the lower. However, both of these are also feeding back info into "God" - God which is the consciousness looking through every eye, experiencing every phenomena, and also causing all phenomena. The difference between the angel and the demon is one of tuning (and the Biblical lore teaches that they were once the same type of creature, but chose different paths). Just like you can have "good" humans and "bad humans" - yet all humans are capable of choosing either a good path or a bad path. It is irresponsible to claim that "all beings from non-earthly dimensions / places / planets are demons" - just as it would be irresponsible to say all humans are good or all humans are bad. Like us - these beings need to be evaluated on a case by case basis.
    It is important to remember that even the demons serve a purpose - they are the vehicle whereby God experiences everything demonic.
    Even dismissing some of these experiences as "oh - they are schizophrenic" as though that is an explanation does us all a dis-service. Sometimes people are tuned into these other dimensions, and see it as a negative thing - so we label it, and now we have a "disorder" and we can ignore the actuality of their conscious experience and focus on "controlling symptoms"... there we go right back into a materialist paradigm.
    This does play havoc with the insistence on a "physical" resurrection - mostly because once you accept a "consciousness" approach, then the "physical" becomes "yet another thing that appears in consciousness". There is no "body" - not yours, not mine, not on any sort of fundamental level. The physicalness of our world is of equal validity as the physicalness of your dream last night... here for a moment, and gone once you wake up. Your physical body in the dream is made up of... wait for it... consciousness. Likewise, this physical body we enjoy running around on earth is made up of the stuff of God's consciousness. This is the mind of God, God's dream. So did Jesus physically resurrect? Sure - but there is no such thing as physical. It's the wrong question - a question arrived at by drinking deep from materialism.
    "The body is a temple" - ok, who inhabits temples? What inhabits your body? Could it be that consciousness is divine?
    Does God require a temple to exist? Does God lament when a particular temple dies? If your frame demands that "God cannot will X to happen to a body" (mortification and death) - then what happens when you look at Abraham and Isaac. Did God just wink and nod at them when he said "sacrifice your son"? Did God not desire for Jesus to be sacrificed on the cross? I think Bethel really backed herself into a corner by having a firm line - this is what God does and so if it is not like this, then it must not be God. OK - who else can it be? and where did they come from?
    This materialist metaphysics is really messing with potentially great Christian thinkers / apologists. I don't think most of you realize how deeply it sits at the core of thought in western Christianity. Just like the west's moral systems are all based on a Christianity it rejects, so do all of Christian metaphysical thought rest on a Materialist framework that it accepts whole cloth.
