Canterbury Railway Society | F 13's 150th Anniversary Railfans Day

Over Labor Weekend 2023, the Canterbury Railway Society at Ferrymead celebrated the 150th anniversary of F 13 'Peveril' entering service. The society hosted 3 days of running, including a Railfans day where a special ceremony for F 13 was conducted and a mixture of consists and loco combinations throughout the day.
Visiting from the Pleasant Point Railway, D16 was trucked up to Christchurch for the event and was steamed on the railway throughout the weekend alongside F 13 and D 140
