What do you guys think of this sled??
What are some videos you would like to see this season??
The assault is a great sled. Wouldâve loved to see you buy a Skidoo Summit though... đ€·đœââïžđ
So glad to see you're back and happy again Jeremy keep it up God bless and ride on
So glad to see you're back Jeremy love watching your videos love the Polaris assault what did you do with the old sleds either way keep it up bro God bless
Jeremy if the sled is dying and the headlights are going out it could be caused by the plug being corroded. The plug is located under the hood right above the engine. It controls your screen , key ,and headlights.
Assaults are bad especially yours they blow up really easy and are all around bad sleds sell it !!!!!!!!
Proper warm up is so crucial with these 800âs. Donât rush it or youâll regret it.
Streeters Garage Exactly, my 800 fouled a plug one time because I didnât let it properly warm up
Even with a warm up the pistons don't last, hopefully this one has the piston upgrade kit.
@@linken187 agreed. I'm sure the 800 is a lot of fun but the bigger bore Polaris sleds are time bombs. The 600s however last forever. I sold my 08 Dragon with over 12k miles on it and it still had 110psi on the STOCK never rebuilt motor.
was about to say the same thing ive got a 2011 pro 800 always let it hit 30c before taking off and then just puts around until it comes all the way up to temp. Also turned up the oiler and put a different oil cap on it to keep it going good. Idk what he thinks is expensive for a sled you can get the pro ride chassis sleds for around 5k where I live and thats pretty cheap imo idk what some people spend their money on.
Big Boolin Yep. I typically donât go anywhere until itâs 110f. Also need to take it easy after stopping for lunch. The 3 way sensor in the air box gets heat soaked and is slow to come down to ambient air temp.
The ECU thinks itâs warmer than it is and leans out the mix. Rider gets on the sled and hammers it. Next thing you know it has a meltdown.
I had a 2005 artic cat F7 and I loved that machine. Had it for 5 years before my daughterâs friend wrecked it. Never had a problem with it sitting over the spring summer and fall . Started right up within the first 3 or 4 pulls. 10 years later and I still think about that machine. RIP my F7
Love the sled my friend, but do take the mirrors off lol have fun dude snows not here yet for me lol
the newer sleds dies if not warmed up enough, tech thing in the system
My ski doo just cuts the throttle. But it you lt go znd try again just to back out of the garage it works
It looked like it pulled hard after it died and I was just thinking you cold seized it since it only had 30 seconds to warm up.đ€Š I watched you for a couple years but this was just hard to watch at the beginning
U have to let those 800s warm up for a good long time. You will regret it, Iâve blown an 800 because it wasnât warmed up all the way
Bro u did not blow a 800 ur like 13 u played Minecraft 3years ago
Sliti Noah lmaoooo for real
Lol
Great Sled! Most of our group all had one just like it. Pull the temp gauge up on your dash and let her warm up to around 90 degrees Fahrenheit before you start ripping on her, should help with bog and prevent any long term issues.
I have been waiting 2 weeks for this video
Watching all your old videos good enough for me O snow in mid Michigan đą
Iâve been waitin for this brođŻđ„
"Sore laying in bed, like an old man"...I resemble that remark...lol
Seriously doode, carve out some room to park that beauty of a sled inside.
Looking forward to more sled vlogs. I hope to see some vids of you riding on the trail system!
Last...please tell us what you did with all your other sleds?
Hey Jeremy love the videos keep up the good work
Bravo! Thank you for saying you will be sore. It happens no matter what you ride first few rides of the season.
Love the videos man more snow comin so get ready to rip!
With these assaults you NEED to let it warm to 120F before ripping in it. Otherwise you will run a higher risk of cold seizing it. They also have a tendency to foul plugs if run before at operating temp.
OMG. Missed to see your vlogs!!
Definitely let it warm up longer. Great video can't wait for more
I like your new sled. We got a RMK Pro 800 from 2011 in my family, that thing just goes! Looking forward to the comming videos this season.
FINALLY...You are freaking awesome man.. nice video
i finally got out for my first rip on new sled about a week n 1/2 ago no fields but there was enough snow on the sides of road and my lawn ....its only a 500ss but damn it was snappy ive only had fun on older sleds ..nothing like the newer ones. love the video ,looking forward to more.. and maybe riding with you this winter ;)
1:44 that moment when your beside your grandmother in her deathbed
Love the video man
At least get a cover for it if you're going store it in the blue sky shed.
Welcome back man.
Nice video man! Iâm sure them cars loved you having your high beams on lol.
I love your video ! Its very nice đ„đ„đ„
Great video again. Keep up the great work!
I wish i lived on the nortern part of finland. currently living at the south coast and here is not enough snow to ride snowmobiles. only about 2cm of snow...
Congrats on the new sled brother.
Thank god.yr safe.hope too see more videos miss them you n Mike n.travis.camping too
You should not get a studded track , get a 2.5 inch powder track.
Yes donÂŽt get a studded track get a big paddle track instead!
On the grind I seeđđđ
So glad Jeremy and winter have returned. 12 inches in Connecticut. Picked up a new Arctic Cat.
good choice :)
Niceđ
Same here today in the northern Sweden, first real rip with some mods on my old polaris Xc 700
Same in the northern Sweden on my old ski doo formula z 583
Nice sled so far kinda upsetting when you find out there is problems but still it's the first ride and its always exciting đ
Love the sled, keep it warming for a few minutes before taking off. Also donât ride in such low snow, you can blow your engine because it will overheat!
Agreed, but yesterday i had my 800 in 2-3 inches of snow or so and never went above 123°
Nice! I just got a polaris assault as well! Im living through you because I cant ride it yet!
Glad to see you rippin. Still waiting for snow to rip my SKS here in Alberta!
Braaaaapppppp! Still waiting on our first snow in Ontario. Iâm riding a 09 RMK Assault 800 146
I got my first snow in October in Ontario.
Let it warm up longer
Tommy Gleason IT shuld have warmed UPP fore 3-5 min maybe
Yeah let it idle for a little bit but just ride it to warm it up lol
Runs amazing
Itâs a 800 you gotta let it warm up at least 10 minutes
Ryan Wiens 5
Sweet sled. Tuesday we got 14 inches of snow in northern colorado so i took my 06 skidoo summit 800 for a rip. Sure is fast and loud. Other sled is in the shop. Enjoy the riding and be safe.
Lucky guy we donât got snow yet up in northern Alberta my sled sitting there waiting what a bummer looks fun man cheerz
The switchback assults are good sleds. The 800s are prone to to end failure depending on year. Over all you'll be very happy with the sled as is. As for the skis go with a c & a pro great ski in general and a nice upgrade. If you plan to ride packed snow get your self a set of ice scratchers. I'm not big into loud exhaust personally no true gains performance wise and 5 pounds does not make a difference. Not for your average rider. If you get one i recomend the ggb quiet can still has bark but wont make your ears bleed..... Those are some of the more common things we see through the shop for upgrades. Feel free to hit us up on Facebook you would be welcome to join us at our cabin in the upper of Michigan anytime.
Love the vid
i love the sled, got a 2012 model my self!
Not a big fan of the 700 or 800 models always liked the 500 or 600 because of the fuel mileage, dependability, and plenty of power for what I need. Never snowmobiled in Vermont so enjoying your videos and topics. Would be interesting to see what the trails have to offer and any maintenance ideas you may have.
Heck yeah buddy! Bring her to Michigan and me and the boys will show you some great riding đ€đ»
Ohhhhhhh I've missed your sled videos
Heck ya brother!
Awesome sled, looks nice. Iâve been in your situation before with warming the sled up, I let it warm up for about 2-3 mins
Like your videos you remind me of myself i bought a mxz800 twin only burnt about 5 leaters of gas melted the motor.. no fun people donât usually sell perfect sleds Iâve learned but I think that u got a good sounding sled there bud
It's the same with me, wake up the nexst day and feel the pain in the body. But we got a lot of snow these few days
Glad to see you on a newer sled my friend! Any chance you can see what brand headlight bulbs you have in it?
Going to the mountains Jan 3rd-6th... You should come! đ take it easy be safe!
Nice video, but that's the same reason why I got rid of my Polaris a few years ago and got myself a Skidoo, but rid of that one last year, but cant wait for several more videos!!
Cool sled!
Yesssss
Check the main hood harness. More than likely the clip is broken and it separated. Which would kill the lights but still allow it to run.
Let that thing warm up
You need to let it warm up to 90-100 degrees Fahrenheit or some where around there
Hey Jeremy
Me and my grandson went out for our first snowmachine ride of the year last night , he got stuck in deep snow and mine
quit running pulled on that thing for 2 hours and it finally started and we were able to make it home alright ( in the dark)
so we are going to try and go back out today , stay safe my friend and good luck on your next big adventure
( BIG THUMBS UP from Alaska )
I say start it and and holder to burr. People telling you to let it warm up you should no this anyway man. But I get it first ride getting excited and what not. Great vids bro keep em coming.
Ahhh a nice sled vid missed ya my friend screw 1st shift 2nd shift is where it's at haha. Jk man sending postive vibes and good highs from michigan. P.s I Hope you didn't buy a lemon.
Oh yeah I canât wait Iâm getting a snow storm tomorrow đ
You in Maine? I'm in Maine and we are to
Lucky
Ryley warfield hey me too
Please cover this sled up itâs actually a nice sled donât leave it out and get ruined
its awesome
Letâs the sled warm up for a while
four days till the trails open and it's going to rain for two days. was two feet of snow here in southern vt
Nice dude
When you take off the hood you disconnect the speedo and the headlights chances are the connector came loose look under hood and reconnect until you hear click
My snowmobile usually does the same thing on the first ride of the season it dies once or twice and then I get it restarted and it runs perfect for the rest of the year so it just did that because it has been sitting for a while and also needs to be warmed up longer
Love new sled ,would love for you to do mewt up eidw this winter ,wherw thw heck is valhala mike miss him đ€
It was acting funky because you didnât let it warm up, I have a 2013 switchback and it does the same thing
Nice video
Axys is a great platform. Hope the gremlins in that sled work themselves out. Sucks to have a new ride and issues on the first run!
thankkkkk you i said you sould get it
You need to warm these 800s up past 100 before you even think of moving it or you'll have a rebuild in your future real soon, by the way its shutting off I'd check compression
Also you might have only lost your high beams try the low beams
yay hes back lol
You've got an electrical issue connected to your ignition. Could be as simple as a bad ground or sensor. That sled is a good candidate for a turbo. Those rmk's are tough and can handle it. In fact Polaris makes a factory turbo just for it for a reason. It would be cool to see you take a trip out west to Montana to sled the mountains here. It's big stuff here. No shortage of powder.
New sled, same old fields lol - rinse and repeat!
I have an older polaris and it boggs a little when it's cold. They get better when they warm up
That sled should have a temp gage. When we bought are new sleds the dealer told us to let them warm up to 100 degrees f before you move it
You should take those mirrors of the sled
If you enjoy powder riding and lifting the front end up i would get a deeper lug track like a 1.75 lug which would be a good all around lug height for both playing in the powder and trail riding. Cans are cool, especially since you ride on your own property, but if you trail ride they are illegal here in VT so something to consider. Hope you enjoy the assault, if you ever get the chance to get a assault in the axys chassis 2017 and on you def should they are amazing sleds and a huge improvment over the older models both chassis and motor wise!
So how many problems can you have in one video. I've owned a 2008 ski doo 550 fan for 5 years now and never had it stall or had my lights go out never had it catch on fire. Never blew a motor. Fires right up with out the choke. Only thing that happed was I blew my belt when i was stuck one time. And that's it. It runs like a top and will bring the skies up on command. I miss the 700 videos they where the best. But besides that I can't wait for this riding season. Good luck to you and stay safe.
I live in northern lower Michigan more snow is coming your way
What r u gonna be doing with it with the snowstorm we r getting Monday and Tuesday
Hey! NH IS GETTING SNOW TOMORROW!!!!!!!!!!
If your sled is like the RMK's with the three switches above the gas tank all that happened is those switches came un plugged. It happened to my 2013 rmk when it was brand new. I took it to the dealer on warranty and whatever they did it never happened again.
And maybe the air box for mice
Let the damn thing warm up
Cool
We'll need some more how to carve vids!!
Counter steer and then balance it by leaning but you mostly control it with steering and throttle
I ride bike for my training procedure, carbon road bikes 8 months yr, then a mtn bike in winter yea these damn things cost more then sleds do haha, With snowmobiling itâs lots of cardio and legs so biking is perfect for both
You should always check the oil first especially when any machine is sitting for a bit!
The only oil is the chaincase it's a 2 stroke
We are getting a huge storm here in minnesota
Yeah Iâm in stcloud Minnesota and we got a crap ton
You should let the ski doo warm up it's a fancy one I totally didn't read the comments and repeat it
Also I live in Vermont to I'm 13 and I have a rebilt 99 zr 600 it's all racing but
