All the huge changes to the rmk and I think I'm most excited for the coated throttle cable! lol sticking throttle is very scary when in technical terrain! oh and the other upgrades sound cool too lol thumbs up Turcotte!
Finally got to see Brett kick some Azz on a Boost!!! Matt hasn't downloaded today's yet, so It's here first!! And that was one SICK bowtie! The speed you whipped that thing around was like you were on a 146"!!
I am amazed at where you cats get them sleds to go! Looks so surreal to me!! I’ll probably never experience sledding like that so I truly appreciate the effort you put in so we can get the next best thing to the reality of it!😎👍👍👍😎

Sick! I feel like this sled is like when the xm chasis came out and you came off a 2010 Arctic Cat 1000! But thats just my opinion... I haven't rode one soo i cant really say shit! Plus my favorite sled of all time was my 03 M1 900... I think if there is no problems ie: belt drive, clutching, or any other growing pains manufacturers have on first years, it will set the bar a little bit higher. That is always good for advancement of the whole sport! I always love it when buddy hops on his wifes sled "polaris stock" and still ski taps the turbo high mark. Next seaon is gonna be sick! I rode the 2022's yesterday. At sealevel in cold weather. The 650's khaos impressed me alot. I almost wheeled over from a standing launch. The 850 was a different beast. Even if it didnt get hookup from start, if would just keep pulling til it got it and then launch me into the air :D The turbosled didn't work properly due to clutching. I'm sure its good, but maybe not that important for low elevation riders. It was deceptivly quiet for such a machine. Don't know about short tunnels. I might need the longer one to keep me from topling over (and because of cooling on trails)
Unfortunate that it was sitting on the limiter the whole ride by the sounds of it. That thing is going to need some monster clutch weight! Nice review 🤙🏼
5:59 to 6:02 did the engine hits a Rev Limiter ? seems to cut or bug ? Sounds like higher than 8500rpm Edit: 4:35 to 4:42 answer my question but I didn't saw first time. So the real question is: the limiter is at how many RPM? 8600? Because its seems to sit at 8400 8450 8500 on WOT conditions in some videos where we see the rpm display And do you think this is because the new P22 Drive Clutch need adjustment ou you where a low elevation with an high elevation kit? Or the boosted Patriot make power at 8500?

These matryx boost sleds looks great and luckily for me they didnt come out with a 165 KHAOS matryx slash boost, I can´t buy a new sled every year. But 2023, then I'm on.

The Boost actually runs at higher Revvs, since it's not naturally aspirated and yes, probably the clutching. The Boost runs the same as a Boondocker Turbo.
How does the matrix 850 146 switch back assault do in 1.5- 2 foot powder. I’m new to snowmobiling and I bought two of them mostly been on trails we had about a foot and a half 2 feet of snow. when I started to go off trail and then to some fields I got a little scared I was really worried as soon as I got off the gas I was going to sink and be stuck for a month Ha.
We were out in Wyoming this year and a friend of mine has a khoas boost 155. After riding it a couple times and being sick of my sled I was looking for an opinion of someone who had rode bunch of the different boosts. I’m going to buy one this summer. There are plenty forsale.

What is up with that over rev? I rode a Khaos Boost 155 for a day a couple weeks ago down in McCall, ran it hard, had a ton of fun, but did not experience over revving at all throughout the day.
Why did you say “it was over revving” at start of video, and that you wanted “to get higher”? I thought this Boost system was designed to be smooth from sea level to 10,000? So to me it sounds like a guy has to still play with clutch weight?
Sounds to me like they’re not dialled in yet. There isn’t once in the video where he holds it wide open without the rpm stutter... really hope my snowcheck isn’t gonna be a guinea pig scenario!
This is a pre production model that is used for testing. No, you won’t be a ginea pig...that’s what is athletes are for. This sled was ridden at 10,000+ feet elevation before being shipped to Canada

Absolutely agree. That & the redesigned toe holds. I snow checked one just for the added safety factor of those two changes. All the rest is a bonus.

Sounds like it can handle more weight. Throw a set of aggressive adjustable weights like slps in it and it will really pull
Working on it, most of the sound you’re hearing though is boost bleed, the system is calibrated to do that

These are pre production models so there was some clutching that needed to be done. These were ridden at 10,000+ prior to being shipped here.
