Storyline:
Valerie is a 16 year old girl and for her whole life she’s been an orphan. She is a lesbian and every time she tries to come out to her new guardians, they get disgusted or embarrassed since they do not want to have the “gay kid” and return her back to the adoption centre. Eventually she gets adopted by two lesbian women new to the area named Rachel and Gisela. Rachel and Gisela had lived in their old town since they were kids. They became friends early on in life and both figured out together what LGBTQ was. They both realised they were lesbians and soon got together. But rights for LGBTQ people were not settled in the town they lived in, in fact a lot of people were homophobic. So they started protesting for LGBTQ rights. Eventually rights got granted but then a few years later, a new MP starts protesting against it. Many people end up joining his side and when Rachel goes to protest, a fight breaks out and she ends up permanently damaging her leg. The LGBTQ rights law ends up getting repealed in their home town. Because they do not feel safe there any more, they decided to begin a new start in a new town. They adopt Valerie and love her for who she is. They then begin to try and convince her to protest for LGBTQ rights in the town they now live in. They would join her, although Gisela does not want Rachel to get her leg even more hurt. And so Valerie starts protesting on her own. Although many people fight against her at first, she persists. She ends up meeting Emerson. Emerson eventually opens up to her. He is a trans teenage boy. His mother is transphobic and still calls him his dead name, Emily. He actually saw Valerie getting harassed previously by some homophobic people, but was too scared to intervene, and now he deeply regrets it. Valerie forgives him for this though. They begin to gain followers and eventually they are confident enough to announce a large protest they plan to have. This particular protest begins very well as they are getting the attention of many and many new followers. However that day, Emerson’s mother turns up and ends up yelling at him in front of everyone. Valerie’s just about to intervene when Emerson takes the lead and finally stand up to his mum. Valerie is so proud of him, and stand up to his mum too. Eventually all of their supporters join in and they confidently walk away. Rachel and Taylor caught up to them at the big protest and saw the big spectacle that happened and commends the two for being so brave. Emerson finally feels as if he has a real family. They continue to protest and eventually LGBTQ rights get restored!

This is so wholesome! I’m how many kids are scared to tell their parents that they are apart of the LGBTQ and I’m part of those kids and then there are kids that proudly stands up to ppl about there sexuality or gender either way every single person in the LGBTQ+ appreciates all these people who are supportive of us and these videos that are posted🏳🌈❤

Sometimes you might feel comfortable being considered a girl, sometimes you might feel comfortable being considered a boy and sometimes you might feel comfortable being considered a person! Some gender fluid people may use she/her pronouns one day but still like to be considered simply a person instead of a girl. At the end of the day, it comes down to your personal preference and self discovery :))
