Honestly, I prefer them as friends. I think it'd be nice for once to have a girl and a guy just be close platonic friends instead of always ending in a romantic relationship. That said, it would still be a cute ship but I'd also be happy with them being friends.

Technically, Blake helped Dawn too. As we know, Dawn's sister killed himself and Dawn fell in depression. Blake helped Dawn, just as Dawn helped Blake's. He helped Dawn get out of depression.
