  • Listen, I'm sorry for blipping the throttle like a madman but I love how this bike sounds, even with stock pipes! I was at Americade back in June and had the opportunity to test ride this bike, the Harley Davidson Low Rider ST (FXLRST) In fact, I rode this bike three or four times over the course of the week.
If I had to pick only one new bike to own, this one would be a contender (once I dealt with the awkward shifter which was difficult to operate with proper riding boots) I think this bike is a good all-arounder, with the obvious exception of off-road capability. The fairing provides solid wind protection and the small saddlebags are enough for trips of a few days. Maybe it's not as nice for touring as a full dresser, but it's much lighter and more maneuverable. And since it has decent suspension and that big 117" motor, it has some performance to go with it.
The only real con I see with the Low Rider ST is it's price. At $22k USD, you have a ton of other bikes to choose from that offer way more in terms of amenities. You'll notice that the fairing is conspicuously bare. Still though, I'm not really one for TFT displays and other doo-dads, so I think the simplicity here is a draw, I just don't like that I seemingly am paying extra for it.
Let me know what you think about these riding videos! Tell me if you like em, or if I should stay in my shop!

I kinda liked how small it was, lookswise. But yeah I agree, sometimes it was hard to read.
