  • This is my first time riding this bike. This is only the second Harley I’ve ever been on. How does it compare to the Road King? Could this be the bike for me? Please subscribe to the channel and like the video!

I got one of these to use to take to the 120 year anniversary in Budapest, while my Pan America was in the shop. It's still on my mind weeks later. Loved it. 3000+ km. I'm a more aggressive rider and ride 80+ percent mountains and valleys, so I took to the riding position like I was at home. Really, Switzerland is so beautiful on the backroads so I highway at all cost. Still, we were in a hurry on the way back from Budapest so in all, we rode only one and a half day on the highway, and I found it ok - way more comfortable than my girl on her Fat Boy, obviously. When I got back, I even took it up to Furka/Susten/Grimsel passes in the Swiss Alps. Very fun. I ride with a closed helmet, so I appreciated the bit of wind, but I could see how people who prefer to ride with open-face (or no!) helmets would be better served with a touring bike.

Harley discontinued the entry-level bike that they offered it was called the sportster 883 sold for about 10 MSRP then they get a woke president from Germany who does not understand the traditional American customers. That they say they’re going to sell Hyatt only which means that. they are only going to sell the products with the highest profit margin like four just trying to do and not sell the base bottle trucks at the dealerships. That’s why you see nothing but high Ed trucks the dealerships that people do not want so now you’re looking at spending $20,000 for what you used to be able to get for Ted even though it’s more bike it’s double it’s a lot more income for them. so bring your KY jelly and make sure you stretch before you get there so that you can bend over and grab your angles that is, if you still want to stay with Harley. Mandy Harley customers are migrating to Indian.

    I got on I - 40 at 75 to 85 mph & the fairing
took a lot of the wind off me .
My last bike was a 1999 road king classic with over 100,000 miles changed the seat put 12 1/2 ape hangers I bought it with 8 miles on it & put all those miles riding coast to coast, but I have to say the 2023
Lowrider ST was the coolest ride ever, I have a 2021 XL Sportster NS Iron I bought new it's a cool ride but doesn't have the passing power you need on some of these back roads in the Texas Panhandle, thanks for sharing this, have fun...

I agree on the back break was hard to get the bike to slow down but lots of power

Very pleased with my lowrider st, still loving it after 12,000. I bought without even a testride 6mths ago. The fairing does allow wind to your face but does a great job of taking wind pressure off your body and strangely is the most secure feeling in side/cross winds. Purchase an ad justable foot brake lever to raise it up and you get much better pressure on the pedal. Otherwise no hidden evils. I changed out the rear shock only because I ride mostly with a pillion and our backroads in NZ are very rough and bumpy. Good review and good luck with your decision.

@@mikeessary4925 I also bought a Lowrider ST 23 in May. I’m 5’5 and I almost flat foot the bike with both feet. I LOVE this bike! This is also my first bike 😊

I picked up a fat bob 114 - that m8 motor is good. This low rider st also looks nice to ride. Harley is making some good modern bikes lately. Highly recommend the new softail frame - they handle. But I love the old evos too! Harleys are pretty good, I’m finding.
