1995 Breeders' Cup Juvenile Fillies - My Flag + Post Race & Interviews

The day quickly became a success for the home team when Ogden Phipps and his son, Ogden Mills Phipps, powers in New York racing, won two of the first three races with prize fillies trained by Shug McGaughey. They won the Juvenile Fillies with My Flag, a daughter of the renowned Phipps champions Easy Goer and Personal Ensign.

Looking back this has to be the biggest broodmare race of all time. My flag went on to drop Breeders Cup winner Storm flag flying and Cara Ragaela dropped Bernardini! Who's was also a champion and big time sire.

personal Ensign running down Winning Colors had to be one of my favorite races of all time but take a look at 86 Pennsylvania Derby and Broad brush and then what he went out and did to Ferdinand on the west coast after that!!!!
