You can tell Pat was genuinely touched that Al Michaels, a man Pat watched and listened to for football games and sporting events his entire life, not only said he loved the show but took the effort to show how big of a fan he is by wearing a tank top and bringing out the cigar.

I spent the day driving Al Michaels brother on a wine tour in California once. He could have sat in the back of the limousine with everyone else, but he sat up front with me, and what a great guy. I asked him what he did, and he said, “I create ‘vapor ware.” He explained that’s just what producing & creating stuff for TV was. Make it, display it, “POOF” it’s gone lol. A really great guy, and I enjoyed him very much. Over the years, I’ve led over 2,500 wine tours, and driven more famous people than I care to say. But I’ll never forget that guy. Seems like a solid family.
The look on Pat’s face when Al tells him he loves this show is one of the best displays of raw human emotion I’ve ever seen.

My favorite Al Michaels call was a game in New York where there was a tear in the astroturf. A guy is going to score but trips over the ripped up section. Al immediately comes out and suggests that is where Jimmy Hoffa is buried. Priceless.
I have been watching Pat for about 3 years now, with that said he for sure is on his way to being the G.O.A.T of sports shows. People want real not scripted crap. Pat is as real and genuine as a person can be could not be more happy for him!!!
