The facts are that just about anything you have as a positive for Eli are just headlines and if you look deeper, you will scratch your head on how he managed to make it past his rookie year. SB MVPs? Carried. Someone on the defense should have received it. Top 10 yards and TDs? Anyone playing long enough will get there also. Here for the comments lol. Lived in New Orleans when Eli was playing for Newman. If there’s a classier family I’d like to know who they are. Archie is so beloved- and if he felt strongly enough to get Eli outta San Diego then it was warranted. That’s not something Archie would do for no reason. Eli & Payton’s personalities were apparently the same as kids- Peyton would come home from a baseball game screaming about how it went, breaking it down, his performance. Eli would come home walk to his room & say nothing- then when prodded would say he had two home runs & pitched a no hitter lol.

epic interview. Eli....what a legend. What I love about America is royalty is not a thing in politics, but in business and sport there are just certain families that have that edge and are treated like royalty (not because they lord it over us, but because they are us...just common folks who busted their ass and discovered a mastery of their craft). The Manning's are like American royalty, but they never seem anything but themselves a guys you would feel comfortable having a beer with. Thanks Pat, A.J. and the boys for a really incredible interview and show. FYI Manning bros destroy Monday Night football because.....those of us that love watching football would do anything to be able to hang with them and pick their brain about play calls, the tactical aspects of the game and hear their great stories. What a beautiful idea for a show. I absolutely love it!

The MNF with Peyton and Eli seemed to me like a concept heavily borrowed from your show - candid, casual, high-quality analysis from former players, but taken one step further by discussing a game in-progress.
