"The department of car stereo repair" LMAO! Gets me everytime 😂😂
@James D You are and don't know it. That's why you're in the comments section of CZcams responding to people. ;)
Eric H “Department of comment sections “
Love your PFP. It has an old car.
First day OnThe streets and he’s already part of a gang lol
Anyone live near a River?
As a kid, my cuz showed me how to make an “R” sign with your left hand
For that RiverSideGang (gangs are lame, kids) Real G’s go solo, trust no one
@@snoqualmiepatkanim lol what?
We've all done stuff 2 try an fit in....after all these yrs this masterpiece still hits me like lightning....it's good 2 be alive
For a crowd is not company; and faces are but a gallery of pictures; and talk but a tinkling cymbal, where there is no love.
That movie references profound poetic quotes - I’ve been telling people that this movie is a goddamn gem.
Man, I sang the gang song loud in the school playground after watching the film in 1989 - I was in year 4, primary school.
Every kid started chanting it for weeks.
Teacher heard me and I got one weeks detention.
Los Locos would be proud of you
Hahahahahha!!!!
Did you kick your teacher's balls into out space?
Did you threaten to kick the teachers balls into outer space?
💀 💀 Bruh.
I love how the guy at the end shows some concern and tries to keep him from getting hit by a car, even though he’s still very confused
Guess you haven’t seen the movie.
@@elzar760 I’ve seen it like half a dozen times or more, childhood favorite! I will admit though, after all these years I somehow didn’t realize that was actually Oscar he just happened to pass by in this scene. Thanks for being the thing that made my dumbass notice.
@@MsScarletwings lol it’s no worries. I love the movie and glad to know you appreciate it so much as well!
Hey 5 that car ain't nothing compared to what I'm gonna do later bwahahaha
Johnny 5: I'm not Mitsubishi. I'm Johnny 5.
I liked how they paid him back by spray painting him
Enzo Aka big e I think the spray paint and graffiti was supposed to be the robotic equivalent of getting tattoos.
ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh
Gang colours
Sure, they essentially conned Johnny 5 into taking those car stereos for them, but after giving him a paint job, it's almost their way of saying he's one of them now.
"See all those cars? We gotta do all those cars. And we don't even get to go home, to see our families, and little babies and stuff."
That guy cracks me up.
Remember when people used to jack car stereos😂😂😂
Remember when you took your detachable faceplate off... put it in the nice case.... and -put it in the glovebox- took it with you everywhere?
Yes. Many times I was a victim. 🤦♂️
These days, it would be an honor to have my car stereo stolen by Los Lobos...
@@bennysum8252 Where I grew up the only hood ornament I could jack was Chrysler.. Was too ashamed to wear it around my neck so i traded it for some football cards.
To this day I still call this movie "number Johnny 5"
Would've been nice if LOS LOCOS made a later appearance saving Johnny 5 from being mauled to death (and maybe carry him all the way coincidentally behind Manic Mike's shop). They may be hoodlums or thugs and despite conning Johnny 5 into taking car stereos, he is one of them.
I know man...they gave him the ink to back it up...
Would have been brilliant! How could they not put that in the movie.
Tbh that would've been so cool!
And if they actually kicked Oscar & his goons balls into outer space lol
Oh man... That would have been awesome!
J-Five had a thug moment.
Robot singing in the street? That's insane!
Fallout: give me til 2077.
It's sad that this movie is nearly forgotten but, man, I'll never forget both part 1 and 2. Growing up as a kid in the 90's I loved these movies and they hold a special place in my heart.
My favorite part of the whole damn movie! I still laugh at it every time!
Johnny 5 is such a *(COLOURFUL)* character! 😎
I see what you did there 🤣
Good one
😂😂👍
So, I watched this nearly 10 years ago, and loved it. 2 months ago, I was playing Watch Dogs 2, and they made a reference to Short Circuit in one of the driver missions where one of the people has a robot he named Johnny 5, and it gets lost in San Francisco. I watched both Short Circuit movies, and I am really glad Watch Dogs 2 reminded me of this gem of a scene.
Yes we need Short Circuit 3
Poor Johnny. I'd have warned him before he did that.
The good ol days when gangs just used switchblades and nunchucks.
I think nun chuks were popular because turtles were pretty new at that time.
@@animemanXLK nah it was bruce lee if anything
"hola dude, check it on mane" lol..
2 minutes later already earned his gang colours!
*BLOOD* / y marvellous, if u ask me! 😊
He tried to fight a robot with nunchucks, I can tell from personal experience, that would work
These Locos seem chill😎😂
the people that thumbed down this video had their car stereos stolen by Loco Johnny 5
and had their balls kicked into OUTER SPACE
Haven't seen this in over 20 years my favorite scene from this movie.
I always thought it was funny that one of the few people in the film to almost immediately treat Johnny 5 like a living being was a couple of street thugs. Haha. They even give him a jacket.
People trying to break into a car
Johnny 5: I'll open it
When movies were FUNNY!! Loved this sequel.
Despite it being graffiti, Johnny 5’s colorful paint job is awesome!
This is the greatest scene
The bad acting in this scene just makes it hilarious!
I usually can’t tell from bad acting unless it’s obvious.
I still sing that song 35 years later.
Oscar is eating a hot dog and drinking a cup of coffee.
We need Johnny 5 back
This and Batteries Not Included.........super classics!!!!
This whole scene was cut from my version recorder off tv back in the 90s lol
I know NECA hasn't made one of their awesome figures of Johnny Five yet, but I hope they do 'cuz I KNOW they're gonna have the Los Locos variant figure~. This scene is just the best, showing that he's already making friends and influencing lives? Plus, if you were a robot with an internal radio and speakers, who WOULDN'T roll down the street playing 'La Bamba'? Also, seeing as how Fisher Stevens is a white dude playing Ben Jahvri the Hindu robotics expect, I'm guessing the Los Locos were all played by 39 year old Irish nannies named Karen.
Well.. considering Johnny 5 was voiced by Jim Blaney who has things like a heart and a spleen and can solve Capchas.. I thinks it’s about par for the course for cultural appropriation.
For the record, he did apologize for his portrayal in that role, if it’s worth anything.
They ran some game on him 😂😂🤣
Best scene in the movie
We need him back in 2023!
You're in luck! I heard that they were making a reboot of Short Circuit.
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 dude I saw this when I was little and in 2002 when I was in the Army at age 21, me and my friends dressed up as these gangsters for Halloween- and we went around singing
🎵locos kick your a$$
🎵locos kick your face
🎵locos kick your balls-
Into OUUUT OOOF SPAAAAACE!!!🎵
AHHHHAHAHAHA!!!! 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣😂😂😂🤣
I was always saying the Los Locos song as a kid lol
One thing that this robot should not do: never help a bunch of gangsters
...or Wall Street scum.
There was probably an 8 track player in that bunch too
One of the gang members is Robert LaSardo. Seen him in a lot of movies.
The original Chappie.
Yeah
except way cooler.
Short circuit is way better then chappie
@@lamborocksstrikesback7616 what makes it better??
Loved this movie! 🤣
I still remember Los Locos chant hahahha
they should have given him input on human language, philosophy, and lie detectory
That was cute " are u angry too?? Ohhh no we want to be your friend " . small detail but when he pointed at all the cars needing a boosting of the radios, they were all parked perfectly single filed on each side of the street without a vacant spot in an alley .. ,😂😂 so Hollywood, i wouldnt have ever guessed this was a movie set
As a little kid this gang might have seemed somewhat intimidating.
But their bluff now just reminds me of most Dungeons and Dragons escapades.
1:51 Johnny 5 has got some color!!!!
My stupid self as a kid believed this! I was like 5 and just loved Johnny 5! Didn't think this was wrong...now the guys who smashed him up was where the line got drawn!
Niel blomkamp saw this and made it a whole movie .
And yes I randomly said this at football practice the other day so I had to come back to it 😅
1:08 That guy looks like a discount Jon Bernthal
A Mexican gang with nunchucks?? Only in the 90s.
Actually it was the 80s.
They're most likely Puerto Ricans, seeing as it takes place in New York city.
LOS LOCOS!
Movie critics: Boo this movie is lame.
Johnny 5: You're just angry
Johnny 5 vs cancel couture😂
Robot E.T.
The First 8 Seconds: Me And The Bois Boutta Harrasse Some People
D.C.S.R? That's not a real department I think those guys are lying.
These guys are overworked they don't even get to go home to see their families and little babies and stuff
how can I join?
IMINAPANICIMFRANTICANDIM!@#$%^;,?
MANIC!!!!!!!!!!!
Gets me everytime
Cracks me up how they thought it was a Mitsubishi 😂🤣 then he says not Mitsubishi am Johnny 5
Woah I’ve seen this movie when I was a kid but in Spanish😳
Way better than chappie
*Than
His street name is J5
Why wasn't the Los Locos in "The Warriors"?
I think the closest was the Hurricanes.
It would be a short movie. They'd get blamed for Cyrus' death. Then kick everyone's balls into outer space.
Nos loco kick your face🤣😂🤣
Los Locos the most feared street gang in New York heard they once kicked a man in the balls 197 times
Thug Life
Juanito Cinco
I'm still trying to Join
Guy at 2:24 plays in the movie Rad.
Who’s that Kid?
I don’t know.
Well, what factory is he with?
I don’t know.
What do you mean you don’t know, it’s your job to know. Find out!
"number Johnny 5, if you had a mouth I'd wash it out with soap"
Lol. Who were they singing to?
Came here for Los Locos
i think thats a saab
It is.
I’m pretty sure it’s a Saab 9000.
Not Mitsubishi, am johnny 5!
Chappie is definitely a remake to this film !
Exactly
