It's great how they made absolutely no effort to conceal the fact it was filmed in Toronto (despite that it's supposed to be New York): licence plates, street signs, buildings, and the inconsistency in mentioning "Lakeshore". Ah, classic.
I think the best part of Short Circuit 2 was Fred. He, like everyone else saw J5 as just another stupid robot, but by this point in the movie you clearly see he is starting to really see J5 as a person.

That is badass- he wears computer circuitboards and other electric innards on him. That's like a dude covering himself with someone else's intestines and organs >:D.
The cheesy 80s soundtrack to this film is just amazing. :D Also HOLY SHIT at that car crash! No way would they all survive that, not with all their limbs intact. :P
Also it was long past the era of 'talking cars' and they used the voice clips from a 1980s Nissan Maxima. The 'talking' Chryslers used a TI chip and sounded like a speak n spell.
I saw this movie when I was like 5. I can't believe I still remember its existence! I somehow remember the battery fluid part....80s movies were so whacky

Connected, reconnected main battery to memory. However, as Ben pointed out by finding battery fluid, "Oh no, he's leaking fluid." He's BLEEDING to death. The bandage didn't do enough, besides he was using EXTREME amounts of power in the chase, the lift, the fight, and finally the capture.
