I saw this game live and never did I imagine the man and player Kobe would become! I grew up in Chicago and we rode Jordan's nuts hard. Many of us became Kobe fans. Even my dad went from yelling, Miiiiiiike! to yelling, Koooobeeeeee! Kobe was unleashed once they traded Eddie. Man. Watching a young Kobe in the late 90s was like watching Mike his first 4 years in late 80s. Just was hard to imagine where they'd end up in NBA history. Legends. Jordan’s moves were so polished. He capitalized off of the defenders mistakes instantly. Like a chess player.
I was seeing some Jordan videos since it's been a while since hes been retired, and looking at him reminded me of how effortless he was able to score. Not only that, but how damn pretty it looked and with such finesse. I also forgot how many mid-range shots he made, those were almost automatic for him.....and again he did it with so much style.

Watching this game was truly mesmerizing. Watching Kobe and Michael talk near the end of the game, Mike giving Kobe tips and him just nodding and taking it all in just like he said in his story. Truly legendary.

Both Kobe and MJ love the game of basketball so much, they see no boundaries.
So many things bring back so many memories.....I was 16 years old and 5 months pregnant when this game aired. I remember because I played basketball and had to quit because of choices I made. I remember watching this wishing I could still play. Kobe was only 19....My daughter is 21 now....it’s amazing how time flies.....Michael giving him pointers is great! God is good all the time....condolences, prayers and blessings to all the families
