    "...the conservative Right, and the radical Right." Superb distinction. I'm sick of being labeled Far Right. It's a rubbish epithet. I'm a Christian, a parent, a wage earner, and believe that my nation state and culture are significant and important, even if imperfect. Of course I support Israel against terrorism and antisemitism.

    Look at the radical BDS supporters he has in his cabinet. That is a definite concern.

      Not so sure. Look at the American Jews like Blinken, Kissinger, schumer etc, they're Jewish themselves, forget the wives, but are they friendly to Israel? Most hostile.

      Keep in mind Zelensky is the grandson of Holocaust survivors but pretends the 1919 pogroms didn't happen and collaborates with some of the most virulent antisemites known to man.
      I know a lot of mixed faith couples where the husband is antisemitic and married to a religious Jewish woman as well. I think Labour is not going to be that nice to Israel and I'm concerned in general even if Starmer works out.

      Half of Starmer's wife's family live in Israel. He refers to them as 'our family'.

      @@Threebridgecastle It makes no difference as far as I am concerned. It's not about personal relationships, it's about politics, and British politics have always been super hostile to Israel and Jews in general.

      @@l-uk3xm Ultimately though, Starmer decides what the government does. There will be a problem if he stands down and is replaced. His wife and two children (all three of them are Jewish) were attacked by a crowd of anti-Semites at their home in April. The anti-Semites verbally abused them when they were returning after a shopping trip and tried to stop them from getting into their house.

      @l-uk3xm Před 9 dny

      Hostile is right. He's not gonna be Israel's friend. Nobody in England will ever be, no matter the party. Their history is that of the betrayal of Israel and licking the Arabs' boots. Even before Israel was a state.
