I loved living in Bahrain. I am in Las Vegas Nevada but Bahrain was special to my heart. I would love to be back there today. So much for a 53 year old man.
I totally agree but when it comes to clothes I guess people don't care much and are more open. even locals wear like regular clothes. awesome video it sums up everything
Hey !!, I'm Bahraini , and about the dress code thing , we don't take it serious , like u can wear whatever you want here but not in Saudia Arabia cuz in there they are VERY STRICK at dress code , bye ❤️
Dear MK, Thank you so much for such amazing information. I am currently living in Dubai for last 5 years & considering a job change in Bahrain. I had no idea about the country before i saw your video, keep up the good work!
Hi Very nice video. But i would like to correct somethings, First i would like to start with the living cost its waaay cheaper than UAE in general you can find 1 bedroom apartments minimum of 120BD per month it depends on the area and the facilities provided, about the grocery also you have to go to the right places. If you are talking about transportation (taxis) you are right UAE is cheaper than Bahrain. The dress code : you can wear what ever you want anywhere you want no one will be offended (other than religious place). About the beaches you are partly right we have a lot of private beaches but at the same time we have a lot of public beaches. Walking and cycling hmm... No we don’t thing that if someone is going somewhere on bike he/she can’t afford a car... its just crazy to do that in such hot weather. If you need any help you can just ask the locals I doubt that anyone will refuse to help but i would suggest you to ask the ladies, because you are a pretty lady and men are the same all over the world 😅. At the end i really appreciate your effort to make this video about my country and we welcome you Bahrain. Best regards Bahraini citizen.
shanu singh actually it’s not I live in Bahrain for 3 years. And I seen a lot who was arrested and banned from coming back to bahrain for prostitution. I don’t know where people get this information from.
You should have included a section for Bahraini people and culture. I’ve lived in Bahrain and can say that Bahraini people are very cool about everything. Especially the older generation is very humble. While I don’t stay there anymore, I wish the Bahraini people happiness, success and peace.
Thanks so much for the video. I did not think it was negative. You’re telling your side of things. I thought it never got cold in Bahrain, but you cleared that up! My granddaughter is moving there come May. She’s very excited for her new adventure. It is going to help with her career. I have a question, how is the humidity in Bahrain? She currently lives in Florida, USA and it’s very hot and humid. I hope I can make a trip to Bahrain while she is there. Thank you for your tips.
I love BAHRAIN...i'm 21yrs here in BAHRAIN ,for clothing you can wear what ever you want in general BAHRAIN is an open country. Try to come here in Bahrain so you will know how beautiful BAHRAIN is.
Bahrain is very beautiful i used to live there in muharraq in 1989 i went back to my country still have my friends there HI ALI ALSHAMI my friend there in sitra
Overall nice video and quite impressive knowledge about Bahrain except for a few things here and there. Oh and by the way, Prostitution is illegal in Bahrain as far as I know...
There is nice beach like Malkiya but u are right there is rock , the best beach is in Sofitel Beach in Zallaq , and there is another area near Amwaj island called AlMarrasi before it was free now they charge because people use the beach as garbage. Regarding the dress code I disagree because you will find in the malls, coffee shop , and nightclubs 🇧🇭
A very good day to you my dear. I'm so impressed about your video. It really looks amazing. Please i like you to publish a video about human rights in Bahrain and how to found a job in Bahrain While on Tourist Visa. Thank you
I was in Bahrain when I was in the American military and loved it. However, things were a little different then and from what I see is that it is getting a little more liberal.
That is amazing how you could conclude all these facts 😅Your statments are correct! Specially the one for getting to believe tha it is an island surrounded with sea and palms ... when in reality someonr could barley see the offshore when dirving near the boarders because of the fact that these sea are all been seized to rich private owners or for the goverment but not to the puplic !!
Do you still live there? My daughter may move there by the end of the year as her husband got a good job offer. For the time being the biggest obstacle is finding someone who will take care for their cat. They job requires leaving Bahrain every 3 months so they will be traveling a lot. Not sure if moving there for a minimum if 6 months will fit her lifestyle though.Bahrain seems boring for a long shot.
Kaja, do you enjoy life in Middle East? I was thinking to move there in the future for short period like 6 months- 1 year maybe, for career development, but I would like to know if I can keep a fun part of life as well while being there. Best regards and kisses from Greece!
Vlog Kreta Hi :) yes, if you like partying both Bahrain and UAE have so many bars and clubs. I don't know really about other gulf countries.. Definitely if you move to Dubai you'll have fun, not only nightlife, but there's so many outdoor activities. In Bahrain a bit less, it's really small so choices are quite limited. Anyway, it's a good plan :) I'm sure you will enjoy your time in Middle East
Hi there I guess u must enhance the way if your narration I m in this beautiful island more than a decade n I truly respect n understand this small little island n the culture here its very annoying to hear so many negatives than positives ... Anyways all the best for your favourite destinations my dear u look gorgeous mashallah
You only went to the boring areas, places like the avenues and marassi al Bahrain both are cheap and very fun, watch out for jellyfish but nothing else really.
Just asking again, is alcohol reellllyyy legal as it is written in the law book in Bahrain that it is legal, and not like in Dubai where they say its legal but it is not and that you can get in heaps of trouble if you get arrested for being tipsy, is alcohol really legal there ?
+123Ryanist Hey. Its legal both in Dubai and Bahrain, you can buy it in every bar and every club. These places get permission from the government to sell it. There are also separate liquor shops only with alcohol - also legal. But you will not find alcohol anywhere in supermarkets.
Hi Miss Kiedis, I have got a Job offer in Bahrain and would like to know some things. As I was watching your video about single bed its seems a lot, as My school which I'm going to work in says that it is cheap and it only costs 150 BD, so they want me to find a place to stay but after hearing you, I'm thinking twice of coming. I have been living in UAE for 8 years. Also how are salaries of teachers in Bahrain as I have no idea about that? Thank you. Awaiting your reply.
Bahrain have everything for Europe standard people to live and be happy! This girl just dramatized almost everything. No boddy give a F... how is your dressing Code or your attitudes. Maja Lilić No worries dear, If you ask me about Serbia, I will tell you that Serbia is very Religious place to live... Here in The Kingdom of Bahrain you will find Muslim as Majority, Hinduism, Cristians (mix), Buddhists, Punjabi and all of the existing religious. Cristian have Church and Cathedrals, Hindu and Buddha have Temples... there is everything and there is Formula 1 :) so the Islamic is the Core of this Country and if you ask they will tell you nicely, there is absolutely amazing to come here in Bahrain and learn about the Islam, The Quran, The Muslim traditions... Specially on Ramadan! You will have the best month gathering with your friends here. No worry about religious or open minded, this is the best place on the Earth at this Very moment!
