- Get a train ride between Jesenice and Ljubljana, Austrian border to central Slovenia. This is freight train for Volkswagen cars transporting from Germany to Port of Koper on the Adriatic Sea. These trains usually have abouth 16 double Laes wagons and the length over 500m. This is train locomotive cab ride through one of the most important railway corridors in Slovenia. The Slovenian railways perform most of the transport between the port of Koper and Austrian railways, ie border train station Jesenice.
The traction of the train from this video is done using two Siemens ES 64 U4 locomotives, popularly known as Taurus.
Date of capturing: April 2018. - Auta a dopravní prostředky
The very high standard of maintenance of the railway track in Slovenia is something to be most proud of! It is rare in the USA to see track this well-cared-for on any but a very few of our best railways (Burlington Northern Santa Fe, Union Pacific). I'm hoping this and other of your videos inspires railway personnel in the USA to do better! Such beautiful countryside too. Thank you, DULEVOZ!
You're welcome!
It’s not very high, it’s just medium quality, there are European countries with much better maintenance than this network.
Thank you very much, Dušan, for yet another wonderful video. I remember Jesenice and the big metallurgical complex from driving through on the way to the Dalmatian coast with my parents in the mid 1960's. I'll never forget what it looked like in those days. Everything was grey: the valley, the buildings, the trees, the people... Looks a lot better now.
You're welcome!
Enjoyed the journey to Jesenice, now for the return to Ljubljana. Thanks for this incredible ride. Beautiful countryside. I am from the UK but now live in Croatia. We don't have journeys like this in England.
Спасибо автору,прекрасное видио,красивые виды.Железная дорога ухоженная,светофоры,электрический перевод стрелок,безопасность обеспечена.Привет из России.
Greetings from norhern Sweden. A BIG thank you for the ride. My wife and I are sitting on a bike and "ride" all the way behind a TV. We like very much of what we see. Landscape is very different from where we live. When the pandemy is over we shall try to visit your countryside. Once again: Thank you so much Mr. Dulevoz. Tack så mycket!
Greetings from Plymouth, UK. High definition, lots of information, great scenery, this is a wonderful video. Thank you.
Back to Ljubljana!
Nice RailWay, beautifull Landscapes!
Получил удовольствие от просмотра. Спасибо!
Wonderful video Thanks. And I must say as ever, I await you other videos and hopefully a new train cab ride soon from Serbia, Belgrade, or even Austria. As I said before, and this comment got three likes from others, a ride in a rain, snow or thunderstorm would be awesome. Please keep doing these videos as well as the non-cab ride videos. Warmest regards, Dusan, Dana.
You're welcome. Thanks for the nice words. I will try.
So glad you posted a cab ride again! Thnx.

Awesome video. Fantastic views and trip. New subscriber here you got me hooked. God bless safe travels ahead. Hint: Lights on in tunnels would be great for us ;)
wonderful video 32 years ago the last time with Hellas Express to thessaloniki
Complimenti.Un altro gran bel video..La linea aerea di contatto, gli isolatori e i pali di sostegno sono uguali a quelli in uso in Italia(ormai solo sulle linee secondarie).
Hello. Nice video dude. Nice ride through the Slovakian mountains with the three tunnels. Will love it if you can make night time videos as well. A train ride is fun at night with city lights all around.
Slovenija mountains,not slovakian.🇸🇮
This is Slovenia, not Slovakia. Two totally different countries. :-)
@Anmol Mehta
Thank you. Slovenian mountains are really nice and it would be pity to miss the view, if it would be filmed at night.
Great Video. Thank you.
You're welcome.
The railroads in Slovenia are beautifully run and maintained.

De nada.
Very nice video!!

A particularly like the information about the train, speed, location and the pictures you take!
çok güzel mükemmel ( very cool super love )
Teşekkür ederim.
Greetings from Connecticut, US 🇺🇸
I love your videos and watch them every night to clear my mind. I never knew Slovenia was a beautiful country!
Question - What is the woman saying in the automated message when the train begins motion?
The german variations of those locomotives will tell you "Zugbeeinflussung" and "SiFa". "Automatic train control" and "Dead man switch" respectively. The former basically setting the maximum speed the train must not exceed (Vmax) and the latter reminding the driver to trigger the dead man switch to prevent the train from being stopped automatically. Both are security measures to prevent accidents.
incredible this is nice video I am from Indonesia
Thanks.
Think you very much for ride.😍😍😍😃😃
You're welcome.
Great video, thank you! What says voice after passing (failed) red signal?
You're welcome! That voice says: "Vlakovna varnostna naprava" which means: "Train safety device".
Super in lepo 👍
Hvala.
Salut prietene 🙋♂️🙋♂️🙋♂️
Pemandangan yang bagus dalam mengikuti perjalanan kereta ini.

@Marlon Kannon Thanks for your reply. I found the site through google and I'm in the hacking process now.
Seems to take a while so I will reply here later when my account password hopefully is recovered.
do you have more then one cam; i wil sometimes look in cabine
Hi!
Can I ask you which stativ do you have?
Tnx on reply. Greetings from Slovenia
Hi, I use over 10 years old Hama tripod. Greetings to you from Belgrade.
Does this train usually pulled by Slovenian locomotive (SZ 541) ? I've seen in other videos, Austrian locos OBB 1216 pulling some trains between Jesenise and Ljubljana. Do they change crews in Jesenice then?
Лайк из России от работника железных дорог.
Maybe I will visit this railway in 2019
You are welcome to visit Slovenian railways.
@@dulevoz Even me?
Hey i am a photografer and love to picture slovenian freigjt trains, where do these trains stop, any help would make my day
hi, why did engineer so slowly up the train at 41:55? tnx
What are the Functions of small Solar Panels near the Railway?
Thank you.
Sorry for bad English. I'm use "Google Translator".
1:38 so next upload will be the Ljubjana - Koper railway, right?
Yes, you are right :)
In the thumbnail, why are cars driving on the left?
Very good and very interesting video! Like.
But sorry, this is not 50 fps. Yes, the video is really 50 fps, but each frame is repeated twice, so visually it is exactly the same as 25 fps.
Thank you. Unfortunately, for now I am not able to record at 50 or 60 fps.
@dulevoz, can you come to Macedonia and film the train routes ? There are not to much, Skopje-Gevgelija, Skopje-Bitola, Skopje-Kicevo, Skopje-Kocani. There is no onboard train ride from Macedonian railways
Macedonian railway is in my plans and I will try to record some cabrides at main railway lines in the country. This, unfortunately, will not be before 2019.
@@dulevoz Ako si od Srbija, mozeme da razgovarame i na srpski ili makedonski.
Pozz druže. Čime snimaš?
A mozdonyokon minek van a fényszóró ? Dísznek ? Ha van, miért nem használják az alagútban ?
Please explain in more detail what the speed values mean "V(slow order)", "V(limit)".
Thank You.
V(slow order) means a work on rail, so because of safety you must reduce speed
I have filmed some trains on that railway line
Would give a thousand likes if possible.
What is the recorded voice saying over and over?
The german variations of those locomotives will tell you "Zugbeeinflussung" and "SiFa". "Automatic train control" and "Dead man switch" respectively. The former basically setting the maximum speed the train must not exceed (Vmax) and the latter reminding the driver to trigger the dead man switch to prevent the train from being stopped automatically. Both are security measures to prevent accidents.
I recognise this from the other direction in another video
can you post about Cargo Train
👍
What's that guy doing at 1:07:35 ?
Under no circumstances should the Shunter who is coupling the locomotive to the train be allowed to get between before the locomotive has buffered up... if this is the practice, then it is a very bad practice... a Shunter's job is one of the most dangerous on the railway & there is no way I personally would have allowed this to happen... if the driver inadvertently lost control of the locomotive, he would have been in danger of being crushed to death... p.s... i was a train driver for 40 years before retirement, so I know...
And as per rules and regulations it sure isn't meant to be like that.... However, in practice, I've never seen it done any different for like 20 yrs of my life on the railroad.... It is Balkans, my friend, if you don't improvise - you don't survive ;)
English pronunce : Jesenice (Dzesenise) But its je se ni ce
mi-mi! 4:23 :P
Pi-pi ! :))
mi mi signal informs a train driver that the end of the train just pass indicated location (for example: end of speed limit)
That signal bears an uncanny resemblance to the Road Runner!

Blekomna vára strana práva...???
1:07:35 wtf?
This is a machinist (engineer) who needs to climb to the second locomotive of the train.
@@dulevoz hi why did he need to climb on?
