    Excellent performance review. You questioned the 0-100 km/h figures. I think most bikes will compete at this. I ride a BMWR1250R and that is even faster. It seems that the performance of this bike is more designed for the track rather than public road speeds. I certainly could not compete with this bike on the track.

    • @snake111de
      @snake111de Před 10 dny +1

      Eine Theorie wäre, dass Honda zumindest für Euro 5 Verhältnisse, ein schönes Klangbild anbieten wollte. Der Kompromiss lag aber dann wohl darin, die Übersetzung so lang auszulegen, dass das Fahrgeräusch in einem legalen Rahmen bleibt. Das Ergebis kann sich meiner Meinung nach hören lassen, die Side Effects sind jedoch dafür viel hoch. Auch wenn im Vergleich zur ersten Serie der aktuellen Generation SC-X die Übersetzung in einzelnen Gängen verkürzt wurde, ist die Elastizität im Vergleich zur Konkurrenz noch immer sehr dürftig und im Alltag nervig. Wenn man sich schon dafür entscheidet, eine sehr spitze Motorcharakteristik in einem 1000er Superbike zu entwickeln, dann sollte der Motor heutzutage am Ende schon 230 PS erzeugen. Denn 213 PS schafft das BMW Aggregat auch, nur steht einem hier, eine sehr kräftige Drehzahlmitte zur Verfügung. Selbst für so manche Rennstrecke, ist diese Motorauslegung untauglich. Also wenn man die tollen Fahrwerkseigenschaften auf der Landstraße genießen möchte, geht das nur, wenn man sich im TT Style bewegt und damit eine Freiheitsstrafe riskiert. Somit ist diese Honda bei allen Qualitäten für mich leider völlig uninteressant. Nur meine 2 Cents. 😊

    In some countries, there are people who can reach 348 km GPS speed with this motorcycle. Only with full exhaust and software.
    You are making a mistake in the video, the engine gives its maximum power at 14,500 rpm. You shift into 6th gear, which has a very long ratio, very early at 14,000 rpm. If you move towards 14,800 rpm, you will see a speed close to 310.

    • @mototop_
      @mototop_  Před 11 dny +2

      348 only with exhaust and software? Of course for 348 you need a lot more power or way better areodynamics. For example the WorldSBK bikes reach about 330 (maybe 335 on a straight road). Older MotoGP bikes that could reach 350 (with way better aerodynamics) had at least 240hp.
      I can tell you I also tried to rev out the 5th gear, and it doesn't went faster ;) it's just restricted in topspeed to 300, doesn't matter which gear.
