    This has helped me so much.Whenever I get negative thoughts,I just see them as a dark cloud passing by and eventually they go away.

    I'm so grateful I found this playlist. I'm suffering from HOCD and it's so uncomfortable and makes me feel mentally trapped.

      Don't worry Wayne, you will understand what hocd is and how it affects people and where its roots of the disorder is and with that knowledge you become a wiser, more confident and stronger heterosexual. You will no longer be fooled or bamboozled by the malfunctioning of the brain for the rest of your life. There are things about the brain that people do not know and end up believing in their brain rather than in themselves and use the brain as it is designed to be "one of your organs and your servant "not your leader, decision maker or the teacher or the boss of you".       @@pubglitegaming5602 Our thoughts can sometimes create little scenarios that mess up our perception of reality thus we end up reacting and slowly start to believe the thoughts. The way I broke through my delusion is by separating my subconscious thoughts from myself. Thoughts are thoughts, you are not thoughts. They are a product of your brain that is used for our benefit and nothing else. If the thought of liking people of the same sex felt disturbingly uncomfortable then you aren't homosexual. If your "brain/thoughts" say otherwise, don't believe it's lies because it couldn't be more far from the truth. The bottom line is to know yourself enough to the point that measly thoughts cannot shake down your beliefs and values. Believe in yourself not your thoughts. You two are separate entities.

      Thoughts are thoughts nothing more and you are the judge of thoughts appearing your head which are all made by the brain and not you. Your are not thoughts because you are not the brain and brain is not you. Brain can not reach you and you are the all mighty of whatever the brain produces in form of thoughts suggestions or images.     This has helped me a lot, but how do you know this? How do you know that the brain is independent of you? Aren’t “you” just a compilation of many thoughts? Patterns of behavior?

    Tried to explain to several friends this topic that thoughts are just thoughts not your reality. Some don’t get it!

      One a long time ago when I was 20 years old , I happened to have the opportunity to see an old wise man by some mystical circumstances, and in our conversation he said to me " you have no mission to teach others wisdom unless they are ready for it otherwise just move on and don't bother after you tried once". So you do the same, does not matter if they get it or not, you can not wait till others get something, as long as you get it then that is good for now and let them get it when they are ready to get it when they have some intellect, interest or wisdom in such topics.

    A good intro into thoughts. i hope you are more in-depth video on thoughts. especially the concept of part of the brain being independent to us. it has nothing to do with me? it sure has a lot to say.

      Why would it be actual if you question its appearance as contrary to your values and choices? If it was actual you would not become aware of the contradiction between the suggestion, feeling, thoughts, image and your preference, choice and values. The fact that there is an awareness about the contradiction between the brain’s thought, suggestion or induced feeling and you, your preferences, choices and values clearly tell you that it is not anything actual.

      @@UndeadNerdT800 you can say whatever you like to say but it is not about opinion you wish to have but about the fact that you are not the brain and brain is not you and you are not thoughts and thoughts are not you. Brain is an organ it’s job is to make thoughts and these thoughts are independent from you and the thoughts you use the brain to create. You are above the brain and they are two separate systems. Fir more discussion on this you can watch many videos on the channel as it can not be summed up here.

    For me, if I do something thinking of something bad, it makes me think It will come true and I have to do the same thing thinking about something good. But it's not true. Thought are just thoughts, right?

      Yes thoughts are just that, thoughts. Your OCD makes you think in this way but just ignore these trains of thoughts as they only make you think that your thought are anything more than just suggestions and thoughts, they have no powers, what make it look like if they have any power is you thinking that they have any power and then believing it otherwise in reality, they have no powers. You are believing a thought (a meaning) about your thoughts!

      So as I was thinking about this, about my thoughts being false but still the brain wants us to believe it - this came up in my mind. "When we think of something good or something good just pops up in our head, we would want it to happen or be true. But they don't happen at all. And when the bad ones pop up, we want to think - No, no. Please go away and everything to avoid that thought. But wouldn't it be easier if we took the bad thoughts the same way we take good thoughts?

    In my case, sometimes I imagine things like sexual acts with a man and it’s like I’m trying to see if I would like it and sometimes I understand that in real life I wouldn’t want to do that but sometimes I imagine myself really doing it and maybe liking it but I don’t know if I believe it because of the groinal responses, but I feel awful. And even before all of this HOCD I used to watch porn and I was never attracted to the men in videos neither in real life. I used to admire if I saw someone good looking but just that. Please help, it feels like if I had the chance to do something that I would like it but I don’t want to do that, what if it’s all real and I’m denying it? Even tho all of this started when I was 7yo and a friend and I kissed (I don’t know why) but I remembered this experience and this caused all of HOCD and I don’t know anymore, I want a lovely gf

    It's like the brain/body wants to dominate and make you believe that you are lesser than it and you're not in control. I know that sounds crazy but I kind of believe it 🤔🤣 I wonder if that is the reason the ancient Egyptians had disdain for the brain

    What do you mean become your reality? Thoughts are an issue but that is a bigger issue I worry about more than my thoughts ever since I read that manifest book. If I think a family will crash and die for weeks will that happen. I don’t want that to happem . Or my partner will leave me and stuff. Tell me the mind dies not create this? That will ruin my mind

      No Buddha was not talking about OCD disorder, OCD brain. He was talking about conditioning, neuroplasticity that follows repetitious thinking of negative or to reach a goal through such practice. But you will not end up changed in your inclination because such thoughts keep showing up as that is malfunction of the signalling system of the brain and not becoming what you think.

      I am not sure I understand what you mean Krishna. By a nightmare? do you mean actual nightmare or an incident which is described as if it was a night mare meaning it was a bad incident.
