- This is a rare video of a very special song that is included in the "Legacy of Love" CD released in the summer of 2009. The music for "Too Beautiful to last" was the main theme for the film "Nicholas and Alexandra" and was written by Richard Rodney Bennett, with lyrics by Paul Francis Webster.The video comes from the 1972 TV Show, 'Engelbert and the Young Generation."
Thank god His voice is captured on tapes, CD's, video, and other mediums so the beauty will last forever.
