Actually, this wonderful song is much older than 1989...It was written and first released back in 1947, sung by many a great artist but it was this version recorded by Engelbert in 1967 that turned it into the world mega hit it is and deserves to be...This is playback in a performance for German TV in 1989 when the song was already over 42 years old, and it's still going strong just a few days after Engelbert Humperdinck's 85th birthday!...Needless to say I never, ever tire of listening to it!...
