I am 72 years old now, born 1952, this song was the first pop song I heard from the radio that I really liked. I was really young about 6-7 years old then. Since English is not my native language (I am Thai), I did not understand the lyrics at all, yet the tune, the voice captivated me.

God: mom and daddy dancing to this across the Glo Coat polished floor.....five little children watching two beautiful people move like one--there was that kind of love he sings of. Daddy died in VietNam....Mom never dated or married--51 years now: daddy was the love of her life and ours.

Man, I'm glad I don't look like that anymore. The song, what can I say, it's the same old feeling, I like it uncritically. It's very far away from what I liked to hear a year later.

Great song! Takes me back to my childhood. Whoever coined to phrase "the good old days", probably never realized just how true that would be, considering the times that we are living through these days. The young ones
Darling, we're the young ones
And the young ones
Shouldn't be afraid
To live, love
While the flame is strong
For we may not be
The young ones very long
Tomorrow
Why wait until tomorrow
'Coz tomorrow
Sometimes never comes
So love me
There's a song to be sung
And the best time
Is to sing it while we're young
Once in every lifetime
Comes a love like this
I need you,
You need me
Oh, my darling, can't you see
That young dreams
Should be dreams together
And young hearts
Shouldn't be afraid
And some day
When the years have flown
Darling, then we'll teach
The young one of our own
Once in every lifetime
Comes a love like this
I need you,
You need me
Oh, my darling, can't you see
That young dreams
Should be dreams together
And young hearts
Shouldn't be afraid
And some day
When the years have flown

Hello Nancy how are you doing?
In those days, Cliff Richard was my all-time favorite and I remember all the lyrics. Feel overwhelmed to hear his song in 2021. Felt goosebumps.
In times of pandemic, let's use music to ease our worries. Wishing you and your family good health and happiness. czcams.com/video/hxx67Ao0oQo/video.html
I was living in London between 1964 to 71, and this clip was most likely the early saturday evening show called "Top of the Pops" being aired at that time and I was watching it in my flat. Now 50+years later, seeing this old black and white show again and knowing that there isn't much life secrets left to be unfold, I can only say...Yes, I was young once and had the heck of times, been there and done it all. Thanks for sharing.
