- I can't believe I actually found this historical instrument buried in the ads of Facebook Marketplace. Restoring this violin was truly a fun project and the sound of this violin is so magnificent.
I hope you enjoyed the before and after transformation of this instrument.

That violin was violated during your description of its physique. 😂
Would be interesting to compare to your own main violin.
I second that this would be great to compare with your main violin. That would be an interesting comparison!
It sounds really beautiful! Well done to you and your Luthier friend!
As someone who is in desperate need of an upgrade, I wish my parents had the money
It really does not make sense to use $100 as the cost basis considering the total cost was closer to $500.
Are the strings still setting in? The violin sounds a little flat rn but the sound was super deep and resonant
Im trying out new violins and i saw a ton of Mirecourt ones. Thanks for clearing up what it is for me!
Hi you were the best teacher I ever had and you help me with alot thank you alot from gab❤
Is there sheet music for 7:14 . The way you played sounded realy beautiful
wow the second one definitly sounds a lot less tinny
STONKS
Yeahhhhhh, I kinda WONDER whether he'll ever actually get ANYONE to PAY 10 grand for that instrument.
but do these violins have the same strings ?
Great video as always! May I please know what piece you played @7:14. Well done!
Its a Christian hymn I rendered in a romantic style called “all to Jesus I surrender”
It’s never going to be as good as my blue one 🧐
👍
If you didn’t sell it how can you say you flipped it? Totally doubt your valuation.
I don’t understand how you think that instrument is possibly worth $10,000 😂
it's called click bait.
Wood quality back then was substantially superior. Not to mention, French violins made by skilled artists were explicitly perfected
@@nubulite great lets see you sell that violin for 10k without provenance.
@@nubulitea diamond in the rough?
Hate to rain on the parade, but it sounds the same as the $100 Amazon violin. Maybe a little louder, but you said you were pressing harder on the strings. Don't know where you're getting the $10k estimate from, but no one's going to be dumb enough to buy it for that. I hope it's just the mic because there's definitely not a $9900 sound difference.
waiting to find out how much you spent to get it fixed
Don’t sell this violin, please donate it to me…..
🤣
