- What are superfoods and why should you eat them?
The term “superfood” is a fairly new term referring to foods that offer maximum nutritional benefits for minimal calories. They are packed with vitamins, minerals, and antioxidants.
I love it so much that you didn't edit out the tumble
I’ve watched this short so many times due to the incident 🤣😂
I'll swap out strawberries for blueberries, add dash of cinnamon powder
The good doctor is a nut too! 🤠
Love watching Mike, but could you write down you portions - especially the cream and Monk Fruit, please?
Can’t believe you dumped it 😲
that became a glass of laxative after i made it. too rich for me
Thank you so much for your videos, I work in the medical field and was a health coach and I ran track in college… anyway I just am in bro-manced with you…😉
So do you post you MD stamp of approval? 😁😁😁
Trying to save your videos on nutrition and weight loss in one place. Guess I have to go through a lot of videos to find them. Thanks for making them!
Here’s my smoothie concoction. Apple carrots celery banana blueberries raspberries strawberries flax seed matcha powder collagen peptides almond milk yogurt broccoli spinach baby kale avocado. I drink about 30 oz for breakfast every day 7 days a week. Don’t know about weight loss though.
Is coconut really healthy?
Healthy in small parts
Best smoothie to lose weight is pure water
Need nutrients, no?
Nah coconut water
Dying to try this! Thanks Doc!
I would love to see the healthiest “weight gain” smoothies for just in case I get sick in the future. I lost nearly 15 pounds (already was skinny) when I came down with covid for a full month, ever since I’ve been struggling to pack extra weight. Thanks for posting these recipes, loving the Mediterranean stir fry ❤️
Can you explain what nutritional training you have had? Because doctors generally have none or just a few hours in their general training.
Thanks Doc
I prefer frozen raspberry, lemon, protein isolate, yogourt and water.
water is always in my smoothies. never milk
i might try that. how do you do that? is it just lemon juice or you take the skin off the lemon and throw it in?
@@azca. I squeeze a small piece of lemon because I find it brings out the taste of other fruits. I take only the juice, not the skin. It is also excellent with many other fruits, for example mangos.
@@missj.4760 very nice. I'm definitely trying this. Thanks!
@@azca. I always use yogourt and water instead of milk. I don't really like milk anyways.
Thank you! I will try it....
Hope you like it!
Thank you for sharing video, love it
Your Recipes Rock! THANKS Mikey :)
Qualifies for dessert!
You need more coconut
Please put the recipe in your video description :(
Watch it again and write it down yourself. Don't be lazy
@@dh12. No.
CLARIFICATIONS NEEDED: (1) You don’t mention how much monkfruit sweetener to use. (2) You don’t explain what “coconut ice” is (coconut water, milk, or cream). (3) The full can of organic unsweetened coconut cream alone is 830 calories - but it’s not clear if you used the whole can). (4) Does this make just 1 serving; if not, how many servings does it make.
Lol Mike, why do I often do that very same thing? I have knocked over my blender a few times! Lol don't feel anything bad.
reminds me of a smoothie version of the pink drink at starbucks 😋
That "Aaaaa Moment" 😂
I’m curious if any of you have tried Kachava? Plant based all in one complete meal. Oh, and was it expensive? Thanks for your help.
If I want to use fresh instead of frozen berries it still 5?
Yup they work I add protein mix. Try strawberrys and Birthday cake protein mix taste like strawberry shortcake
Thanks for sharing!!
Have a great time..
That Coconut cream contains 15% of daily saturated fat in one table spoon, is it really healthy for liver and NAFLD?
I know you. You are a doctor.
Thanks for sharing
Thanks for watching!
@@DoctorMikeHansen 😊😊
Also where can I find this full video?
czcams.com/video/1gx0BaU_QV8/video.html
Thank you.
Very good looking
Thank you! Will try this one...
Hope you like it!

Greetings from down under - WA
Have to find substitute ingredients, hope it will taste good as yours!
Are the coconut ice cubes coconut water or coconut milk what exactly are they?
coconut milk
@@DoctorMikeHansen Thank you.
Ain't no way bro dropped all of that😭
😋😋
Dr. H can be a clown too! 🤣
Walked away...spat it out...and walked back hmmm 😋
Starbucks recipe?😀😀
10 seconds rules… don’t worry it super food those micro bacteria is organic and helps with your digestive system…
You sound like Dr. Oz rn
The only somewhat healthy ingredient in this is the Greek yogurt
Doesnt cashew and coconut make you gain weight????
Ummm recommending saturated fats??
having not watched the video yet, isn't the healthiest smoothie just straight water?
Weight loss?! This thing would have at least 950 calories unless you used low-fat coconut milk in which case it would have 750 calories. Only a man could lose weight eating this much, though I'm sure it would be filling with all that fat.
That said, I do love your videos
soymilk please😊 I'm like allergic to like about all of that...
Ummmm total calorie bomb. That is a weight gain smoothie
Nice! Looks like you're in the void lmao
😆
Lol.. Ingredients gone 😅😅😅😅😅
Zoom *zoom* zoom
How many carbs is this? (I’m diabetic.)
675cal
@@DoctorMikeHansen That can’t be correct unless you use smaller portions and/or more servings than indicated in the video. I looked up the exact size and brand of coconut cream, and a 13.5 oz can has 27 servings at 30 calories each; 27x30=810 calories for that one ingredient alone. (Also, my question was about carbs, not calories.)
🤣
Please don’t eat cashews. Look into how they are processed. Terrible human misery.
Too much coconut. Too much fat, cholesterol.
Hah!
Too much calories
Smh
