I have been on a ketogenic diet for about a month now and at first I was not happy with the results. I was always feeling tired, it turned out that I was missing electrolytes. By following mealplans (in my case *DynamicKeto* ) I started to see what I should eat. I no longer get headaches and my energy levels are going through the roof!

Thanks for these recipes. I'll try them! I make one myself with avocado, yogurt and walnuts/almonds. But I add more ice so it's more like a shake 😆I chopped frozen 1-2 strawberries first then place it in the glass then pour the shake/smoothie. My sweetener is torani puremade caramel syrup. I add a bit of stevia. The ice, walnuts, and chopped strawberries all add to the texture!

I make my green or berry smoothies with vanilla protein powder, unsweetened vanilla almond milk, lots of ice and no sweetener. So yummy 😋 I often replace a meal with a smoothie when I don't feel like cooking 😁

I"m a type 1 diabetic so I HAVE to do low carb...great ideas...I don't have all these ingredients today but I'm going to get them...I have stuff other than these that I bought. And just like you...COLD smoothies are the only ones I can drink!

the first smoothie is what I make all of the time. Sometimes I add banana or sometimes not. I also add vanilla flavoring, nutmeg and cinnamon and peanut butter. I always use ice even though the fruit is frozen. Makes it nice and thick and so good and cool when the weather is hot. Also, if you use almond milk make homemade almond milk. The store bought kind (i.e., Silk, etc. has very little almonds in them (less than 6 almonds in each carton). The rest are fillers (i.e., carrageenan and other stuff you shouldn't drink) Calling Silk, etc. almond milk is a misnomer

These are super easy yummy recipes! I will be adding some chia seeds and/or hemp seeds and ground flax seeds. Ground flax seeds are great for us post menopausal women! I also like adding cinnamon, ginger, turmeric and other spices that are good for your health. But now I have three new recipes to make!

I use a pea protein. Orgain Organic Protein.
And btw… I’m tall too. 6ft. “Fell off the low carb wagon” this passed month, (I was on vacation. Hard to stay low carb focused. I tried though.). So your video is perfect timing to jump back on. Being so tall, I notice when I put on weight my knees start to hurt and that’s what happened this weekend.
My problem is… I’m ALWAYS craving a meal 😩😩😂😂 good stuff. I’m definitely going to try the green one 💪🏼

Thank you, yes candida, no yogurt, Banana ect. Berries fine. After 3 months I started pineapple this week to the grapefruit I use and green Apple but I never get nice smoothies with all the spinach and avocado ect in there. Add stevia but still bitter. Looking forward to be healthy once and can try the one with vegan Greek coconut yogurt. That might be nice. But now, no starch allowed

I am new to smoothies and low carb lifestyle.
I 'm confused about the nutrition counts (protein/fat/carb ratios)and how I can adapt these.
Here's an example using your Berry Smoothie as an example.
Ingredients:
1/2 cup frozen strawberries
1/2 cup frozen blueberries
1/2 cup frozen Greek yogurt
2tbsps Choc Zero Honey
1/2 cup Unsweetened Almond Milk
1/2 cup ice
Equals 2 servings
Nutrition:
Calories: 149
Fat: 4g
Protein: 6g
Total Carbs: 30g
Net Carbs: 10g
I'm confused about how much protein,fat, and carbs i should aim for per day.
I keep hearing that 30g of protein/meal is the norm and healthy fats such as avocado will keep you satisfied. I've also heard that you can use hemp seed and flax seeds to increase protein and fat ratios while keeping it low carb. I'm also confused about the total amount of berries to add to keep this low carb. I've heard 1/4 cup of strawberries and a 1/4 cup blueberries for a total of a 1/2 cup of fruit.
Do you recommend talking to a nutritionist or a dietician to figure out what my body needs and how to get started?

Looks delicious, well, except for the peanutbutter one (don`t like peanutbutter). But you`re right, sometimes you are just not into a savoury meal. And yes, ice ice baby! 😃. Thanks for the good ideas.
the only thing i would add to all of the recipes to give it a bust in taste, is vanilla extract, two tea spoon for each 8oz of any smoothie. i personally use white vanilla but the black vanilla extract will work just fine as well.
I just tried the green smoothie, but I substituted the vanilla protein powder with Apple Pie Slice protein from Just Move Supplements and I was pleasantly surprised at how delicious this is! I was definitely skeptical, especially since I don't like avocados.

I think vanilla muscle milk will go great in this for a sweetener. It's zero sugar, and normally, I dont like zero sugar things, but it does have a sweetness to it and it's 🔥
