    I use all these Steeda products (and more) except for the springs on my 2016 GT and my 2019 Bullitt with Magneride and they are truly awesome. I just fail to understand why all these springs need to be so frikkin low. It makes the car look ghetto. Magneride cars are already a tad lower from factory. Why don't you make a Magneride compatible spring with minimal to no drop?

    I'd like to see a supercharged manual mustang, 60ft testing with the Steeda pro action adjustable shocks/struts and the ultimate stop the hop kit at a prepped track vs the stock suspension. I know Jay at Velocity motorsports ran a 1.4 60 ft at a prepped track with a manual.

    Hi Chris!!! Another great video Brother!!! I ordered a Dark Horse on 6 April so I am eager to get the car but I would like to see what Steeda could do to improve the Dark Horse that has the Handling Package. I drove one on the track already and didn’t think I had a lack of traction especially with the Trofeo RS tires so absolutely no axle-tramp. However; I need to hear what you guys suggest!!! I want to make my DH perform the best that I can on the street. The current Strike by the factory union may add to more delays receiving the car. Thanks again Chris!! 👍💪😎🇺🇸✝️

    Can you install this kit and then go with an aftermarket 20in wheel set up and still achieve a sold handling daily driver ?

    • @steedaautosports
      @steedaautosports  Před 9 měsíci

      Yes! This set up is designed for the daily driver in mind. With aftermarket wheels, you could potentially find a lighter setup and find even more performance gains there.

  • @rv8pilot1
    @rv8pilot1 Před 9 měsíci

    Will this setup work on a S650 convertible or are the spring rates different for the convertible because of the extra weight?

    • @steedaautosports
      @steedaautosports  Před 9 měsíci

      Everything aside from the IRS Subframe Braces will work on a convertible due to the bracing. The ride height may be slightly different than a coupe due to the extra weight, but the difference isn't enough to change the spring rate.

  • @sdfth491
    @sdfth491 Před 2 měsíci

    newbie question, can you add magneride to a regular GT in aftermarket?

    • @steedaautosports
      @steedaautosports  Před 2 měsíci

      Not really. You would need to transfer the shocks and struts, wiring harnesses for each corner, ride height sensors, wheel hubs, and the entire computer that controls the system. Then reprogram the car and body control modules to adapt to the new setup. Which a lot of that you can't do without a specialized tool from a Ford dealer.

    How do I improve the handling on the Mach 1 with the non handling package

    • @steedaautosports
      @steedaautosports  Před 9 měsíci

      With these same parts! We'd recommend the MagneRide Dual Rate Springs and Competition Rear Sway bar if you're more focused on handling. We do have a separate kit for the Subframe Bushing Supports on the Mach 1 as they omit one component compared to a GT. You can find that kit here -> www.steeda.com/steeda-555-4449-gt350-irs-bushing-support-system

    Just make sure you save for new magnaride shocks at about 50k miles. My PP2 needs them replaced and I’m being quoted over 3,000 to fix. And the drive modes won’t change when you have a problem with the shocks at least in my case.

    • @TheCth777
      @TheCth777 Před 7 měsíci

      Have you heard that this is a common issue? I’m debating between a 2018 with 50k and magnaride and a 2020 with 40k and no magnaride but with steeda lowering springs. Concerned about being too low a ride height for parking garages tho

    • @6ixspeedstang186
      @6ixspeedstang186 Před 7 měsíci

      @@TheCth777 get no magnaride and just do a complete aftermarket suspension. The most important thing is to get one that has the modes that change the throttle response. Like sport and track mode switches. I don’t think the magnaride is all that necessary for every day driving. Those throttle responses make a big difference in the way the car takes off under throttle.

    • @6ixspeedstang186
      @6ixspeedstang186 Před 7 měsíci

      @@TheCth777 so far I haven’t heard this being a common issue. I dont even beat on my car. The dealer just said they don’t see any evidence that I have ever done anything out of the ordinary yet they said they won’t cover it. They also said they’ve never seen anything like it because it sheered the magnaride connection on that shock. It cost me $800 to have it fixed at ford. Didn’t grant my warranty and it’s funny because I bought an extended warrranty for the electronics which includes the magnaride. Guess they lied to me.

    Highly recommend you Supply a Shorter Drive Shaft that Connects the Transmission and the Rear Differential. Since lowering make the DriveShaft Angle Shallower... Otherwise under hard launch in straight the Squat makes the Angle even more Shallow ( Especially From a Dig). U-Joints will be the 1st to Fail or the Clutch will Explode. Then the Differential and the Cycle will be On Going.. Lower Rider Effect drive slow. The 1970's 1980's used to Raised the Rear Suspension due to this, hence the Funny Car.
