Committing to Combat Kleptocracy

Earlier this year, NDI and Open Government Partnership (OGP) produced a report outlining how kleptocrats and their “enablers” move illicit assets from the country where they were stolen to the locations where they will be stashed and enjoyed. We spoke with the report's author, Jodi Vittori, about the key takeaways and the measures that OGP member countries can take to protect their economies and politics from the inflows of kleptocratic ill-gotten gains.
