The V2 manual I downloaded said to place it at 15mm tail servo.
I like your comment re servo layout: "Thinking out of the box", however I'd like to know what needs to be taken apart to replace one of the cyclic servos, looks like a substantial effort to me.

how do you adj tail boom for belt tension and what keeps the boom from sliding forward after it tightened. We all know belt drives will loosen if the boom slips
