Hi. At 6:45 on the video the rotor head was spinning very slow. Is that possible with this heli? I like to start my heli very slow head speed during start up to make it scale like. Is it possible with this heli? At 6:45 in the video was the main blades really spinning very slow like a scale heli would start up? Thanks again for your review. I will buy this heli if it does. Most small heli have an abrupt start and for me I don’t like. I know it does not affect most people but I’m really into scale like start up with heli and scale like flying take off and landing. Please tell me so I can make a decision. Planning also to get the Futaba 16IZS to go with it.

**Update** Manual was finalized/updated during this build. I made mention of the Main Rotor RPM range I was trying to achieve. And that RPM has now been adjusted a bit. It is now slightly less than what was originally recommended on the upper range. After updated info I ended up using 2200/2400/2600 but that’s all preference and what you feel most comfortable with. Enjoy and happy building!

Hello Nick. Thank you for another very informative video. Considering that the shaft and radial bearings will eventually be subject to maintenance and or replacement, I question the wisdom of using bearing retainer on either the outer race of the bearing (contact surface between motor stator and outer race of the bearing) and/or the inner race of the bearing (contact surface between the inner race of the bearing against shaft). It looks to me the radial bearings were press fit onto the stator without any bearing retainer from the factory and the factory did not use bearing retainer between the inner race of the bearing and the shaft either to begin with. I understand the bearing retainer would prevent any potential runout or uncoupling between the bearing races against the motor stator and the shaft surfaces, but I question the necessity of using this bearing retainer especially since the factory does not seem to use it to begin with, and the negative consequences when it comes to maintenance and bearing replacement in the future. Your thoughts?

Im loading up my shopping cart as I watch this. IRCHA sales weekend! Thanks for the build. I am going a different route... TORQ BLS0705M Mini HV Brushless for tail and Torq BLS0808 Brushless Micro HV for cyclic. For the ESC I choose HobbyWing Platinum 80A V5. And the even bigger plunge... Im adding a RadioMaster Ranger to my Tx16S 4-1 so I can go with a Nexus FC and RP3H receiver! Wasn't against going with the full Goosky PNP kit, but tbh I was a bit leary with doing so just based on all the rough patches I've had with my S1 and S2 gyro/servo settings. I could have a totally awesome stable flight, then change the battery and its wobbling and drifting hard the next. To many times I have to re-calibrate the Gyro when I should be focused on trying to learn to fly. I really find Goosky amazing with their engineering documentation, parts and support...but horrifyingly lacking with their software documentation and support. Going with their branded 'reasonably good' avionics for the beginner to intermediate is a generous claim. I dont mind something that has a lot of hands on learning if its documented, but Goosky really does a terrible job with communication/support and an amazing job of fabrication/supply. My big beef is most knowledge comes from community support and it really should be a manufacturer led effort. They are making money for sure, these are amazing beginner helicopters and I'm sure sales are strong! They need to do better. Anyways, I will update you on my Nexus Journey, thanks again Jeff!
