sorry bout that. the pin 1 is the bottom right one, then goes up to 4, jumps across and down to 8. pin 5 is the one without solder in this particular chip from "the--mook" on ebay
@ninjaboy585 hot glue is only good for keeping the wires down. you need to solder

hey man i like the video but i was wondering if you had to use rosin core solder because i dont have rosin core and was wondering if it would work with any different solders i have lead free solder would it work or does it matter

You know how you put heat-shrink tubing? Can you put electrical tape instead?
How do you turn on/off the rapid fire mod? and what's this "programming" thing for the chip? I've seen it mentioned, but I have no clue what it's about really.

Hey I like the video and I want to do this myself, I'm in the uk so it isn't worth the shipping to buy the items direct from across the pond so i've started my shopping list in maplin (uk electronics store) but the 3rd resistor "they're called M1's or something i'm not sure" doesn't appear in their stock list, could you post in the discription all the required resistors and parts please or reply with the names. Thanks

i think so but your modes wil change BOTH the lights and the rapid fire...unless you mount another buttton somewhere...
dude i am sorry but i am watching your video and that was the biggest hack job i have ever seen take your time guys and run the wires neatly and dont rush and put the chip in a area that works dont break any thing and think on what you r doing before you do it

It is a normal chip (12F683) or did you program it?
resistances are these values 17 ohms, +/-5% - 77 ohms, +/-5% - 100 Mohms, +/-5% or can you please share the values or what material you used
so all those places he soldered the wire to the bord that he scratched off? how do i know where to do this?

I'm confused at the beginning of the video you say you do not use pin 8 on the chip and proceeded not to put solder on it. Then at 12min in you reassign which pins are which (at the beginning you say top is pin 1,2,3,4, then at 12 min in you say those pins are 5,6,7,8) then proceed to use pin 8. Just trying to clarify, not talking shiz or nothing, about to buy one of these chips and was watching your vid.

replace the led if you want it to work its the only fix as a burnt led means it doesn't conduct electricity get ready for some fine soldering and be fast the reason he was saying to be fast in the first place
