I’ve finally put the Lotus itch to bed. On Holiday this week (Job has been moved to India after 29 years) so before I start my Garden leave thought I’d put my mind to rest either but a Lotus Elise or forget about them.....

The side skirts and rear diffuser I like very very much. It gives the extra aggressive sportiness to the car.
I am not too sure about the carbon mirrors though.
Maybe it is just me but I think Joe looks like a monk with his hoodie on :)

Saw the OG video back in the day and ordered them straight from Jack personally (they didn't really have a decent website back then). Been on my F20 LCI since 2016 and still looking like the day I took them out of the box! Cool to actually see how his company evolved!

Joe Achilles I am slowly looking back at your reviews of the M2 first gen, currently drive a 135i coupe but love the look of the M2. If I change it will have to be Gen 1 due to cost. Great videos.
I really want to buy the mirror caps for my m235i however I saw ages ago you used to do it in the body colour of the car. However the mineral grey was always saying out of stock 😥 any chance they are coming back in?

Hi Joe, thanks for your video. is the rear diffuser real carbon or fiber glass ? how is the fitment ?
I like it but the parts are a direct copy and rip off of the m performance parts. It looks like they have literally just tooled the manufacture off the BMW parts, especially the front splitter.

How are the mirror caps for wind noise? I love supporting the "bloke in a shed" but the engineer in me means a healthy dose of scepticism, despite them cloning the original.
Jonathan M Good question. The mirror units on the M2 Competition are “m style” from factory. So exchanging the mirror covers on this vehicle will not effect wind noise. That being said, the “m style” mirror covers do inherently produce additional wind noise due to the additional drag they produce - though it’s marginal and not noticeable.
