  • In the world of Jojo’s bizarre adventure there’s a scientific or dare I say supernatural event known as the spin. The spin is a phenomenon that occurs when a spherical object rotates at a certain speed. However it isn’t some neat party trick, the spin has a variety of other functions. For example, the Zeppeli family use the spin for the art of execution as it can relax a prisoners body right befire the moment of death. In fact, the spin is often used to manipate the very function of the human body. Causing it to unnaturally move in different directions, harden skin to the point where deflects bullets or flatten certain body parts. That’s not all, the rotation can also generate a new energy force called rotation energy, which is usually imbued into perfectly spherical objects like steel ball. However as it turns out, steel balls and executions arn’t the only thing the spin is good for. It’s also an incredible medium for the development and growth of stand abilities. There are two stands in particular who massively benefit from the spin Tusk Act 4 and Soft and Wet Go Beyond.
    However, their spins are different in terms of their origins and their functions. So I decided to pit both versions of the spin and the stands they belong against each other to truly see who would have it. This isn’t simply a vs battle between stands but also a question on which version I d high version of the spin is better. The golden spin or the explosive spin. Now I know I have made this video in the past. But it was badly researched, short and I got age restricted, so think of this video as a superior remake. Anyways with that out of the way. Let’s begin the video.

    They aren’t really comparable abilities, one is a nuke ability and the other is a hax bypass ability (granted infinite rotation did work as a hax bypass against funny valentine).

    JoJo nerd here (again). Yes, the "spin" phenomenon that Gyro, Johnny, and Wekapipo uses is different from the "spin" phenomenon that Josuke (part 8) uses while using Go Beyond. In the entirety of JoJolion, Josuke's "spin" was never stated to be "spin," but it was ALWAYS called, "Josuke's spin" or "Josuke's explosive spin." And it's properties are very different from the regular "spin" phenomenon which is bound by time, gravity, fate, calamity, and logic. Josuke's explosive spin, is not bound by any of these things.
    It was stated in the manga in the IR profile of Tusk - Act 4, "With the rotation using the horse's running power, combined with Johnny's Tusk's rotation, a stand ability with the power of infinite rotational energy. In order to control gravity, that rotation pierces through other dimensions. (Its damage is also likely infinite and should never end)." end quote
    Also, the gravity part is Tusk - Act 4 controlling gravity that the spin controls, which is why it can move in stopped time. Tusk Act 4's ability of the Infinite Spin is a nail bullet that can bypass any defense, not only that, but it can also bypass any obstacle. Like how the energy traveled through the ground to reach the Alternate Universe Diego Brando in the High Voltage chapters. The infinite spin will chase you across infinity to end you, even if you hop to different dimensions infinitely, swap bodies infinitely, and will drag you to the place where you are first shot, while destroying you in the process by spinning every aspect of your body. This is how it was able to bypass D4C: Love Train's barrier that redirects any misfortune, not just attacks, across space and time, stated in guidebooks to be "above mathematical dimensions," although this statement could be up to interpretation.
    But, as I've said before, Wonder of U is more powerful than D4C: Love Train. And Johnny's Infinite Spin is bound by logic. It follows the laws of the JoJo multiverse, Josuke's spin does not. AND, Josuke's spin defeated Wonder of U, that came back AFTER Toru's death, it came back as a true calamity, something like the concept taken form. It was also destroyed by Soft & Wet: Go Beyond. Even though Josuke cannot precisely control Go Beyond, he can roughly *guide* it's movements.
    Josuke's Soft & Wet: Go Beyond is FAR superior to Johnny's Tusk - Act 4.

      @@pokechess9172 And also because Araki said Wonder of U is the strongest villain stand so far, perhaps beyond even hope.
      JoJolion Volume 27 - Author's Note
      "Who's stronger, Godzilla or Ultraman? That's been on my mind ever since I fantasized about it as a child. When I write JoJo, this topic isn't something I can avoid. Who is the strongest villain? What is strength, and what is happiness? I think the strongest and most terrifying adversary one can face is something called "calamity." Calamity seems to attack at random, but is actually bound by a certain logic, and comes to all of us equally. It’s too powerful. Even thinking about how to overcome it may itself be impossible. Thus, JoJolion draws to a close." - Hirohiko Araki, 17th September 2021

      Tusk is not more versatile. Did you remember that S&W can take away properties from objects, like fluids from a person, friction from a floor, sight from a person and hair from a cat?

  • @jackking6191

    Overall soft and wet go beyond is the more powerful stand as well as being the more versatile stand considering soft and wet alone has the ability to plunder a lot of things even concepts like friction or damage from what I remember and while Tusk act 4 spin is powerful it is still couldn't defeat Wonder Of U which was defeated by soft and wet go beyond because his soap bubbles were able to destroy a conceptual being which is Wonder Of U so here's how I see it in terms of the top four most powerful stands currently D4C love train, Tusk act 4, Wonder of U and soft and wet go beyond.

      @@BUR404 Then why didnt he use the bubbles to store the energy of calamity since its a force like gravity?

    • @BUR404
      @BUR404  Před 4 měsíci +4

      @pretosheepkkk4123 Because Calamity is everywhere and exist on everything (including concepts). The bubbles can only remove properties on one individual and physical object at a time. He’d have to cover the entire planet with the bubbles to theoretically steal all the calamity energy from everything
      The infinite rotational energy is specifically focused and channeled onto certain objects and people so it’s easier to steal
