    I bought my 2017 z125 pro for $2699 in 2018. I love it and I drive it on paved and dirt roads. It puts a smile on my face everytime I ride it.

    I bought a Z cuz it’s a $1,000 cheaper. And at just shy of 1000 miles on it I glad with my purchase. Z has 2 gallon tank over 1.6 the grom has so more fun longer. And I’m a taller guy so the higher seat position is nicer on my z over the grom

    Picked up a 2021 z with 24 miles on it for 3200 bucks hard to beat. Changed the seat for the flat Bride added the kawasakibrad 02 delete and a rear rack next is modifying the stock exhaust it’s real easy and sounds just like an expensive one. Plus a rear rack to carry stuff. Four speed is fine all Honda did was stack another gear in theirs doesn’t make it faster. Groms are over 5k out the door here X’s about 4300 so the grand I saved I spent on mods. Kawi looks better all around

    That Z-125 is a really good looking mini bike. It looks more like a sport/super bike than the Grom. With that said, I'll keep my 22 Grom.😊

      Groms are great. Kawasaki's was made as a direct competitor to the gen 2 grom. It had an oil filter, an adjustable syspension and a better display w/ gear indicator.
      Now that Honda added the oil filter, a fifth gear, and a better display.... the only thing it lacks is an adjustable rear pre-load. I'll keep my Z but, Kawasaki does need to add a 5th gear.
      Its a wash now... perhaps the Grom gets the nod now since most would rather have the gear over the adjustable suspension

      @@crypticreality8484 I was really scratching my head when Kawasaki refused to update the Z after what Honda did to the Grom. The Z is basically unchanged from 2017 and it's starting to show. Hope they have something planned.

    Very interesting how different the factory(s) mindset is on these two engines (Grom has 30% longer Stroke) = why it makes way more power/torq sooner.
    We have a Z125 that I sometimes use for pushing Dragbikes (to the lanes and then back to the trailers after runs) and between having a manual clutch and 4-speed transmission (1st gear is relatively tall), it isn't easy getting the bikes moving (especially when trying to move/push two at the same time lol) 😜

    I believe they lengthened the stroke on the new groms and that boosted the torque. Nice comparison.

    I have a 2021 z125 pro got it with 702 miles and now I’m at 6300 miles on and I feel it just keeps getting better the more I ride it I can comfortably ride and hit 61-63mph on flat ground I top out at 66 mph downhill

    hey hunter i have a question for you. my 22 grom recently got stolen and pretty much destroyed. i plan on rebuilding it and bringing it back to life. swing arm is bent the case cracked i believe when they broke the chain. when it cracked the case the rod that holds the shift forks and gears just falls out the side. needless to say engine is pretty much shot. surprisingly though it does still run which im not sure how but it does. i want to put in a 212 4v daytona engine in it and keep the fuel injection. do you have any idea how i would be able to do that? im prety handy w a wrench so thats not a problem. the bike itself though needs allk new plastics. new handlebars as they certainly crashed it multiple times. they spray painted it as well. it just fuckin sucks man tbh. sad part is they never caught the fuckers neither. cops found the bike 100 miles away from where i live. it was ditched when the case and chain broke on it. im not sure how to hook the 212 up and tune the fuel injection. i also need a bigger injector as well of course. any help is appreciated man but if you cant help me out np at all. thanks in advance and if you have any questions feel free to ask in advance. all turn signals and tail light is busted asd well. they really fucked it up but i wanna bring it back to life again.

    The 2025 says there's a model with abs and one without. If you know the advantage or disadvantage to the abs model grom for 2025 please let me know thanks.

      They're good for goin around the city or commuting with no highway. Their MPG really saves u alot of money also they're very light and nimble super fun
