He’s a simple dude. Created the anime narrative in his head that he was defending his loved one’s honor. But in this narrative it painted Sean as some sadistic villain which he isn’t. Since Sean’s narrative was more in tune with reality he entered flowstate and everything balanced out. Izzy’s character arc needed this defeat and Im sure he’s coming to terms with it. It will make both of them better men and fighters moving forward.
