The head butt goal, the greatest goal never scored.
A Kid From Houston Texas that's my boy Shaw for you
I hope he does something like that for the habs 😂😂😂
When was that
I don't get that rule, saftey?
That should've been a goal
Lol at 4:05, he made sure he put that blame on the Sit-Room in Toronto on that one 😂
McDavid pulled the goalies blocker and right arm away. It was interference, and a good call.
there was certainly contact, but i am not entirely convinced it stopped him from playing his position as goalie : he got up and somewhat reset before the rebound shot was taken. though its not a bad call, im not entirely sure what they look for for goalie interference. some i have seen i would swear are blatant are not called interference
@@edschramm6757 basically the spirit of the rule is if theyre in the crease and theres contact it's interference. Outside the crease it really depends basicslly the goalie is given the ability to move their arms from within the crease
5:48 *FINAL (OT):* Red Wings 2, Sabres 2.
97Senator lol
L0L
If only ties still existed...😂😂
lol i saw that too :D
4:05 John Tavares is that u? Lol 😂
Why does the ref that waved off the first goal sound like he’s 12 😂
He sounds like Terry Cahill from Fubar
I'd love to know the eventual winners of each of these games.
I know San Jose won the game with the final clip in Double OT but that's the only one
Oilers won that game also. Mcdavid score shootout winner and pointed at the bet like refs do when the pucks go in. The most Mcdavid was pissed in a game. He walked over to refs and said "DID THAT COUNT, GO UPSTAIRS". I THINK he got a misconduct. It was just a hype good moment for oilers and the fans.
@@waleah4855 I wish i would have seen that live.
@@waleah4855 haha ya I remember
Boston won in that first clip but lost the series
That oilers goal was cleaner then Mr Cleans head
The one against Calgary? Lmfao not a chance, that's interference all day, he literally pulled the goalie out of the way of the shooting Lane INSIDE THE CREASE. fucking oilers fans salty af. "and I don't understand that call" those announcers are clearly blind too lmao
Shaw goal was so clutch. Still think it should have counted.
ESPOSITO
goal that goes in by the force of any body part except the stick is a no goal
@@5000subsnovideo So any body part
Amazing material! Keep track of the videos, excited about taking a look at even more of those
0:42 when you forgot youre playing ice hockey
I still think the head butt goal should be allowed
r_TbHOP_r Awesome but no. Can't push the puck towards the net with anything but your stick.
Then you don't know the rule. If a puck is hit with anything other than the stick intentionally the goal will be disallowed
Rachael I’m completely aware of the rule and accept that goal didn’t count. What I’m saying is that I think if you CAN head the puck in the net it should count. Kicking and using your hand are different.
I've seen it before and it's counted
Connor Arsenault no you havent
I still remember that crazy header live
The Vegas/San Jose argument of Jones' stick being outside of the crease is so dumb imo. 1. Even if a goalie is outside of the crease, if there's intentional contact, it's still interference. 2. Where else he suppose to put his blocker? The crease is suppose to be the goalie's area, but if the blocker can't be outside of it, the goalie can't utilize the whole crease without it being out of position and then that also keeps him from doing his job properly. It's a catch-22 I guess.
Anyway, rant over. Now that I got that off my chest, awesome video! Head butt goal should count
I agree. Jones clearly interfered with Marchessault. If they are going "pretend" to be black and white about goalie interference, incidental or not, then they also need to protect position players from the goalies interfering with them during a play. I do get your point about goalies crossing the line, but why even have a crease if it only goes one way? Honestly that call should have never ever been an interference call on Marchessault.
@@LiveTUNA I'm with you. Jones did that to himself. Lot of bogus calls on this video.
That Shaw goal was so damn good. But hey least Krugs won it for us in 3OT.
That was a good graver by Shaw I remember watching that game amazing year for the blackhawks
The ones on Boston and Oilers should definitely have been goals
@Puckman637 wrong. They were all terrible calls.
@Puckman637 what lol. The boston one was good but I can see that one going against them compared to the oilers one. The oilers goal not counting is absurd
@Puckman637 the last one actually was terrible. Jones was out of the blue paint
@@andyc9979 wow i think the opposite. Both should be a goal but atleast with the oilers one u could see mcdavid interfere with smiths stick and that could be an argument.. but the bruins goal.... he literally didnt do anything. he jumped over the goalie he did nothing to interfere with how anderson could make the save...
@@BostonSecret45 I think both should too. I compared the goals which has no meaning. Not sure why I did that. At the time I was saying I can see the Boston one not being as bad as the oilers one. A lot of these are lame. I forgot this video kind of. Was the pronger one on here? I hated Philly and was pissed that goal never counted, the one where they said he waved his hand or something absurd. Because of the Avery goal they got obsessed with that and no one else really did what Avery did. The one Boston one was really absurd when the puck clearly went out of play. Thats ridiculous
0:35 Wes McCauley: It has to be a legal fashion, that's not a legal fashion.
Head butt goals should count, that was Amazing
You can't knock the puck into the net with anything other than your stick. It can hit something like you're head but you can't make it go in. Like it or not it's the right call. I kinda like it but if they do that kicking the puck into the net is also a goal since it's under the same rule and gives the same unfair advantage.
It’s cool in theory but way too dangerous, last thing you want in hockey is players throwing their heads toward the puck
Loving the frequent uploads :D
Saige Trotter Trying to push out as much content as I can 😊
Lol the second one😂😂 dude gets run over and they ask if he was hit hard enough wtf😂😂
As much as I hate the Bruins, pretty sure that goal was a good goal. The goalie laid still thinking it was underneath him. More than enough time to react if he knew where the puck was.
I’m in boston so that’s offensive
The thing is the reason he lost sight of the puck was because he was run over. I don’t know why that was a question of interference
Ya when you see it in slow mo
No that was the right call, Craig Anderson lost sight of the puck due to the interference by Sean kuraly, no goal was the right call, infact there was another boston overtime goal overturned that same game
No when he laid down he lifted the padimplored and it was loose so it soupd be a goal
Holy 7:27 Batman! On the White shirt just in case lol
this is an amazing vid idea lol
You should do
Lacrosse style goals/deke shots
would've liked to know what team won after the goals were waved off, seems like an incredible adrenaline rush and dump for the team who has their goal waved off lol
Now do a Brad Marchand nose compilation
I dont think he can, it's too long...
MattFromCanada Underrated reply
I>
MattFromCanada he? Do you mean Marchand?
Or a Marchand licking compilation
Every soccer player would have loved Shaw’s goal
Great overtime goals
The Sabres fans seemed happy to have a goal waived off for the foot in the crease
2:52
Ottawa leads 3-1 vs Boston... what Ottawa once participated in playoffs?
That Edmonton goal should have counted. Also the ref that announced it looks like John Tavares
Shaw want to be a professional Soccer/football player
I love how every time they know the crowd is going to be pissed, they blame it on Toronto.
How about Michael Grabner of the New York Rangers, Game 5 of the second round at Ottawa, when the goal that he scored was taken back for being played with a high stick?
Pls do Final Career goals
0:44 oof
7:26..boing boing boing...
That is so wrong
She got them Vegas fakies
@5:55 is a rare look/instance that the browns can win a game
The call back on McDavids goal was absurd
The coyotes overtime right here
So what if you’re inside the crease? They changed that rule that allows u to be in the crease before the puck
What is with that rittich guy smashing his stick all the time 😂
Adrian he plays with heart and intensity and he’s very competitive
Do eihl pls
Bruins got hosed that whole series.
The Bruins get away with a shit ton. So much so the fans think that they should be immune to the rules.
The shawzy goal was the best
I was always taught that the goalie is entitled to the blue paint. ANY contact from the opposition is goaltender interference.
Shaw is a legend
You're on fire !
Next playoff ot goals that turned to fight
Jens95 do a video about people running on the ice
I think the Bruins Senators Goal should have counted.
Clearly from the over head angle at 1:39 that Anderson made the save but then went off Methot’s body and in.
Shaws goal was pretty good ngl
How about last second tying/winning goals?
Shout out to Hail the Villain at 1:23
Where's anaheim's ot goal against edmonton? Oh wait..
Peter Chiarelli yeah lol
Hahaha kesler was held in. Ducks won and it was an amazing comeback but oiler fans still cant handle it
Lou Sassole Not that goal, that wasn't even overtime. There was another one where one ref called an icing which then all the oilers stopped playing, but then seconds later another ref says no icing the ducks pick it up and score
Lou Sassole Seems like ducks fans have short term memory loss?
Hahaha is that all you got? Are you seriously still salty about it? Talk about holding a grudge
How was Detroit’s goal no goal? They changed the foot in the crease a while ago.
5:27
Flyers lost
The only call I disagreed with was the Franzen goalie interference
Stick breaking goals
That headbutt goal is my favorite one. He just freaking goes for it and it WORKS. If I reviewed that play I'd just give it to them because it was insane.
Do crazy ot goals
LOL last night too!
7:26 makes me want to be a knights fan
It does?
Lol
NHL:End to end goals
Courtney, you're making vids at a crazy rate. I love it!
Fake dumbass
@@themacud One of those is true but i'm not saying which one
I f🐬cking hate when they do that it’s annoying enough in regulation but in overtime when you’re just ready to go home is the dirt
f🐬cking worst
8:10. The Sharks player pushed Marchessault into Jones so Vegas should’ve challenged the call so that they could’ve won. I am saying this because I am a Vegas fan from Philly but I do like the Flyers as my #1 team. Vegas is my 2nd
It was a super weak call. Goalie interference is like this sometimes though. Sometimes a goalie gets plowed over at the front of his crease, the puck goes in, good goal. Sometimes a goalie gets hit by their own teammate or pushes/directs an opposing player in to their own goalie, the puck goes in, no goal.
eh, they ended up winning that series anyways in 6 so karma rewarded them
This happened to the Minnesota Wild last night!
I always thought that, like is basketball, the shot is legal as long as it is no longer in contact by the offensive player. I'm confused at 4:50 why they are reviewing it.
Ik Basketball and Hockey are different but the shot was made before time expired.
King Santa Cruz it has to cross the line before time expires where as in basketball the ball just has to be released.
Nice Guy
Absolutely no reason why the header shouldn't have counted. The rulebook needs to be fixed and Gary needs to lose his job.
Every goal other than the time expired goal should have counted. The head butt goal especially. I never heard of the no intentionally head butting a puck to score a goal in not allowed. High sticking yes but head butt no. Makes me wonder if you can intentionally use you actual BUTT to score a goal or even your belly.
The first one definitely shouldn't have counted, but what a heads up play. I almost wish they had allowed it. The second one, I think should have counted, Anderson was still in position, he just lost control of the puck because of incidental contact (and I'm a goalie saying that). Third one, the interference definitely affected the goal, so it was correctly disallowed. Fourth one is hundredths of a second... but definitely no goal. Last one was clear interference. No goal.
If he lost control of the puck due to incidental contact, isn’t that the definition of the goal being waved off?
andrew shaw thought he was Ronaldo 💀
Can you make a part two please
Hahah thats righ for vegas
Header should be allowed based on skill alone. If we truly want scoring in this game, lettem head it.
Kevin Crabtree It would be considered high sticking since it’s above the crossbar. Maybe
Jonnie Delorme He didn't play it with his stick.
That would be incredibly dangerous. You don't want people's heads near the thing that people are whacking at.
Gary Bettman Still above the crossbar boss
Elijah Foster skate at your own risk, dumb dumb
The Edmonton goal is good, the stick wasn't needed for the save.
Yeahhh...agreed.
I love your vids
Shaws disallowed goal reasoning "According to Rule 78.5 (i) "Apparent goals shall be disallowed when the puck has been directed, batted or thrown into the net by an attacking player other than with a stick.""
Yet Hossa directed a puck in with his skate in game 7 in this series, directing pucks into the net happens all the time does it not?
the rule is more that you can't push it in with anything other than your stick so as long as Hossa didn't kick the puck in it was a good goal. Also if you push it in with something other than your stick and it hits your stick on the way in I think it still counts
Yeah originally the no kick rule was for the purpose of safety. Can't be having someone's neck being stepped in a crease scramble.
It sort of evolved into the, "only stick by intent rule", but if you happen to direct something in the net with a skate or helmet or w/e (knowingly or unknowingly) as opposed to "propelling" it in, that's okay.
Again, we can't have soccer style headers because someone will eventually land on someone else's ankle.
0:43 Andrew Shaw pulls a Draymond Green on Beauchemin
I mean they’re basically the same people, Shaw is the Green of the NHL, and Green is the Shaw of the NBA
None of those were goals, but dammed if that Ottawa - Boston one wasn't near-impossible to call.
Boston’s and Oilers should definitely have been goals
Radeo Oilers on Calgary was 100 percent goal
Oh I thought it said 20 but it says 20T
Oh so now they disallowed a goal scored on Buffalo with a skate in the crease.
Im just saying I think head butt goals should be goals, when he do you see that, like you would not see that alot
No offence oilers fans, but I love your reactions when you are at home and a ot goal is waved of, or any cluch goal.
Where’s the rule that says you can’t headbutt it into the goal? I mean there’s a rule for kicking but was there one for using your head?
Brett hull was in the crease
The Detroit goal at 5:36 should have been counted. No goalie interference. Bad call
Andrew Shaw hit that other dude in the bad spot
Robitaille against Ducks 2003 playoffs?
Goaltender interference might be worse than roughing the QB.... This is getting stupid
You know how McDavid got by the d men against Calgary so fast is because Johnny geudreu was playing D😐
What D 😂
Go marsh- WHAT AGHHHHHHHH
Star players fighting?
Do a shoot out goals waved off
The Oilers and Vegas ones should have counted
Are you from Minnesota?
Steffan Diaz That is correct.
That Vegas call was bull shit
Do knee on knee 😣👀
