You did bloomin' well in that narrow space, but i know you'd get close to my time, but that was TOO CLOSE mate!!! 😲😬
I reckon the stock TT02 would be a lot better with just some CVA's fitted, but the Type-S would still beat it! I must get my Type-S out and give it a go now! Great stuff mate, you were only a fraction off my time with messed up rear suspension! Awesome!!!! 😎👊🍻👍
If I hadn’t slammed it into the wall it would have sneaked past you but I didn’t realise you did that run with a standard TT02!! Very impressive pal!! What motor did you run on the tests though? 🤔
Looking forward to seeing what you do with a Type S as they really are so much better to drive than the standard chassis!

Jokes aside, you done well there in such a narrow area..... and I can also confirm that you beat my best time of 10secs with my Fazer with both variants!
Type S is obviously the one to go with for sure.
Now then..... about that XVO1 V's a 959........cars all prepared and ready to go, just need a Taylor to record and man the stop watch!
I took it out for a test drive tonight, and it's looking very competitive! 😉

Thanks pal. Looking forward to see what you can do with that 959!! I will rerun the slalom once all my rally upgrades are complete on the Type S
ooofff that smack into the wall got that chassis all in a twist! The Type S definitely ran a lot better and I will have to add this to the never ending list of kits to get!
Hey Addam, that wall smack was a real problem but I did manage to put in a few good slaloms at least. I can recommend the Type S as it really does make this chassis come alive

@HaydadRC I just blasted the back end and the suspension all came loose! Thankfully not an expensive repair which was my first concern 🙁

Hey Pete, just a simple app on the phone. It tracks movement past the camera. I have been using it on the Orchard Raceway for a few years and it is great. I will send you a message with the name when I am back home later

Great run! What did you use as a lap timer? That's not the "Lap Trax" I use unless it's a top secret setting.
Hey Paul, it goes really well and there is a huge difference between the chassises. Lap Tracker is the iOS app and I have always used it for the OR.
sometimes those motors can draw in small parts, that happened to me, the hub pin surfaced finially, nice comparison

Yeah, Craig, that's a couple awesome times you clocked! It's a really difficult challenge, and your alley is quite narrow, so it's even more of an achievement! I definitely gotta try this with my TT-02 once I get it ready, it is also bodyshell that I am behind with... In the meanwhile, I might actually try see how a 14th scale buggy might fare, it may actually be pretty suitable for this challenge, he he...
Hey Mads, I respected your efforts the other day pal especially with a rear wheel drive buggy!! The challenge is quite difficult but once you get into the rhythm it is really enjoyable. XV01 coming later today dude 🔥😎
@@theoagrc I actually watched an old video of Mark's, he did 7.77 with an XV-01.
I think it might handle the tight cornering better!
@madsrcbuggy oh!!! I am going to have to look back through the vintage MB videos now and see!!
Edit - I saw that! 7.77 is a good time and that vintage one had things closer together 2.5m between the cones rather than making it easier for the TT02 and Fazer at 3m 😂

Ouch that slam into the wall 😢. Have you figured out what exactly makes the chassis looks bent? It can't be bent from impact being plastic so it must be something else, cracked lower suspension mount or so?
Hey Stef, thankfully it was an easy fix as I had popped the rear suspension arms out of the mounting!! Made for a fun video though 😂🤣
