Hey thanks for watching the video!
Man, no chore on a farm is ever just easy: always things to move, tires and fluids to check, something breaks or another task takes precedence. You’re so even tempered and cheerful; if you get frustrated you sure don’t let it get to you. I really enjoy watching your videos and listening to you explain what you’re doing and why. I’m going back to watch your earlier videos, too. I hope you can get your manure pond emptied out before it floods! Take care
Jan, Please do video on your life outside of working on the farm. I would really like to see where you live and what you do when are you just chilling or whatever. Thank you!
Hello again from London, UK. Jan that was another really interesting, varied and very well presented video. Your attention to keeping viewers 'interested' is really worth it my friend. Regards to everyone at the farm ok :)
Seems like you were just a kid when I started watching your channel, but now you seem like a pretty big dude, capable of doing any job.
. . . Just ask the cows to hold it for another day. 😃 . . . I was surprised that the manure "pit" was almost filled to the brim in short order. Spraying manure reminds me of the Abbotsford area on the way to Linden. It certainly adds flavour to the foggy morning air. It seems to hang in the air. Thank you for sharing your day.
Tell them to cross there back legs. Maybe that'll do it. 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Most interesting and great video work. You do an outstanding job of recording which matches your skill as an industrious young farm partner
I have learned so much watching your videos. Thanks for the close up of a part of American Life.
Looking forward to the manure spreading. Thanks for all your hard work.
It was pretty cool when Jan was pulling that tank out of the shed. That machine is massive.
I always like watching manure hauling, especially emptying the pit
I was all excited to see the manure hit the fan before the field... stay tuned to next episode... ;)
Round tires, yeah, otherwise they're flat LOL.... That's what we used to say at home: 'zijn de banden nog rond?'. A 'typcal Dutch' thing maybe?🙂 You remind me of my youth, growing up on a dairyfarm and doing al the chores. Fantastic video once again Jan.
Hi Jan, good to see you back again, always enjoy your videos! Love the drone shots, too!!!
Excellent video! Great to see the Versatile again, and the slurry pump going into the pit. Good year to have more slurry than usual. Wonder if it is more snow or more cows (new barn addition) causing the higher level. Sweet hearing the simple pleasure of having round tires. Enjoyed the video. Well done Jan! Looking forward to slurry spreading videos.
Just be glad you can get out there and spread the shit. Have fun
It’s a good day when he uploads
You have had snow and then thawed more so it seems this year. So glad the tanker tires held up this time. Love your videos keep them coming you're really good at whatever you do. Your parents are lucky to have you and your sisters. The calf rooms are soooo nice great job.
it is always fun taking out the equipment in the spring
I always love your videos Jan. Thanks and looking forward to the next one. Hopefully we will see the pit level down a lot.
our pits are all underground and with all the snow we have gotten in central Alberta our pits started to overflow last week, losing our family in 2020 to covid now us 2 teen twin boys are raising 23,000+ hogs [35,000 capisity] Dad and grandfather handled most aspects of the farm but now its just us 2. checking the pits 2 weeks ago the level was 4-6 inches from the top. we asked the county and even Alberta government for help what to do. 50+ inches of snow on our fields and ground is frozen. only when we started to over flow did we get any help. we had to buy a temporary bladder [ $73,000 for it] once we put the pump down the liquid was really overflowing, and once we started the airaction system it was overflowing in multi places. got things moving for 3 days now, 24/7 the pump is going level is down 40 inches as of friday pit is 12 ft deep.
Hi Jan ( moi ) as we say over here, great video, what a big Manure tank you have,i am every time i see it impressed wow, you wher very lukey , all the tirers wher good.thanks for showing and hope to see you in the next video, when you are getting the Manure from the pit...
Busy busy, get-er done, Aloha 🤙🏼🤙🏼
Thanks guy for the update. 👍👍
Wen are you doing the fence around the pit?
He’s soo CUTE 🥰
Bravo, Jan! Carpe diem!
Excellent job. I really enjoy your videos. Keep doing...
It sure is nice to see spring starting to arrive in the north country! Longer days too!
awesome video Jan. thank you very much
Good work my friends
Look like the fence for pit going well. Like the show.
Have you seen Tom Pemberton and how they no longer have to mix the slurry in order to handle the solids anymore?
Great Video Thanks!
Enjoyed the video.
It's starting to smell like money again. Great video as always Jan
Love from South Africa 🇿🇦
Good video.
I think your calf room is cleaner than most people’s homes 😂👍🏻👍🏻

Is it time that mxm left the farm? We had an mxm190 and it too seemed to spend more time in the shop than in the field! wishing you guys the best
I see you have a new tractor on the way should be there soon
👍👌🇨🇦❤, another Sask boy, me too
Brilliant video 💪🏻 🏴
I used that app to measure a tree in the back yard. Works great.
Poo drain yayy 💪🏽💯😂
.. Cheers to you ..
Great video again. 👍😍
Lagoon full early because your new packbarn 😅
Great video as always
Awesome
Holy Shit, that's a lot of ...... 😎👍
progress in tiny steps. Good luck
I was wondering Jan, does the County you live in have a by law as to when you can start spreading liquid manure? Where we were in AB you couldn’t spread on snow covered frozen fields because of runoff. I think a talk about all the regulations you have to maneuver around would be interesting 👍🏻
It’s not bad at all here in our area
@@saskdutchkid
Hi, Jan! Excellent video! What is the name of the measuring app? My girlfriend runs a 🐖 farm and could truly benefit from that when measuring the lagoons!
🇺🇸/🇨🇦 That would make for a MASSIVE stopped up toilet 🚻 !! And that would make for a super bad day 👍🤙
Doesn't look early spring to me, still cold.
What’s wrong with the big Case?
Hey Jan. I’m just trying to get an idea of how big those tires are…. How tall are you? Hehe
Don't fall in, safety harness
Get a wireless camera put it on tank hopper and run screen in pump tractor
look at tiger lights for the versatile. we put those on our tractor and they are super bright
Have you thought about buying a steam cleaner to clean the walls and ceiling on the main barn??
❤️
❤❤❤❤❤❤
Have you thought about getting a sand shooter for the freestalls?
the reason they don't is the size and mobility of the skidsteer works good with where there sand bedding is it doesn't take long to transport anyway
What drone do you use
There's an app for that, maybe for everything.
How many gallons does your pit hold roughly?
"It is what it is."
Sill need to put up no swimming signs
Hey Jan, what about the MX 285 ???????????
I like your videos very much! When's next video coming?
Which programm do you need at 0:40?
What is up jan from the imperial co California.
What happened to the 285mx tractor ? Haven't seen it awhile
How can you spread in the snow or this early? in manitoba id be fined out of exitance for spreading this early
How many farm do you have
Jan
I watch a few channels from the UK, and they have to do TB testing on cattle.
Have you ever heard of it in Canada?
The first I have ever heard of it was on one of the UK farmers channels.
What is the measuring app you used at the start of the video? Thanks Jan!!!
I'd like to know that too!
He has an iPhone so it’s the “measure” app.
Interesting shed the cars ar parkt in, in front of the calfroom.
👍
I keep reading that due to the Ukraine war and sanctions the cost of fertilizer has been skyrocketing. If you have more manure than you can use, is it possible you might find a buyer for some of it?
I hate to see what one of those flotation tires cost when they blow
how much do you sell milk for? in europe they eat up our cow maintenance costs
I'm sure you have answered this before how many cows do you milk also how many gallons does the lagoon hold
How many farms do you have.cause I heard you say you had to get it from other farm.
They call each plot of land “farm” so they’re just going to another part of their properties
Do you mean wood shavings instead of saw duct?
Great awesome video Jan , I think that case is a lost cause . Fendt is the way to go or a new case
When they have it running right then it’s a good tractor so if always seems better to fix rather than buy. A newer tractor would just give more trouble with everything being computerized
Do you guys play hockey on your ice rink
Finish your fence around the lagoon, it's very dangerous. You'll regret not doing it when a cow falls in, or even worse a child...
Hello in the Uzbekistan please writing
0:47 Your other farm?
They call the different plots of land “farms” . He’s just going to another part of their farm to get it.
Hello ji Good Morning how are you
I'm sure you have answered this before how many cows do you milk
Maybe the guys that cleaned the s^&t out of that tank put air in the tires................................. I have never seen that shit wagon that clean........ And I've been watching for years.
Just letting you know you need to wash you bobcat
Eee
Are y’all gonna clean the whole pit this time? Y’all always leave all the sand
Shitters full!

Sorry I didn't know the Case/IH was in ICU. I would have sent a card if I would have known. Luckily, I am an MD ( machinery doctor). I'm not sure how how severe the illness is with the Case without seeing the report from the attending doctor but may I suggest an injection of several gallons of John Deere paint which will, of course, help the patients sense of self worth. If that fails, I would suggest pulling off the radiator cap, pulling the old Case away, and driving a new JD under the cap, put the cap on the Deere, and pat yourself on the back for the great decision you just made.
Time to send that old Case to the Ukraine so the farmers can clear the T72’s out of their fields, then you can buy one of those new tractors you have been looking at.
