People pick on Walmart, but sometimes, for stuff you need TODAY, it can be a tush-saver.
Before Radio Shack went all phone and crappy, people used to complain about its prices for electronic parts. But if you needed something TODAY, it was the place to go to. Similar thing.

The child telling his mom she has too many kids, I fell him. You become invisible the more they are... Walmart seems to be an interesting place to be at. Lol
Guess it depends on the people in the family.
I come from a big family and my parents come from families where they had 8+ siblings in each of their families.
I'm the youngest of ours and we'll over 30 now and my mother and father never made any of us feel invisible even after they divorced. My father even calls us and all of his grandchildren each night.
But yeah, some people just be having too many children when they can't handle them.
Love how the ones who hear the conversations frequently try to sound superior to those generating the conversation when EVERYONE involved is shopping at Walmart!

Same for Kroger. The kroger near my mom's house is almost like a Whole Foods, the kroger near my dad is a Walmart with less stock.

I remember those days . . . I used to keep a bottle of vodka in the freezer at work. When I started pouring it in my coffee in the morning everyone knew it was going to be a long ass day.
The Arizona Tea one kinda freaks me out, lol. My best friend and his hubby had this exact conversation one night, while we were at our local walmart... The hubby had a strange love of Arizona Tea, and cheese.
I think the craziest thing that I saw happen in Walmart was when this jerk was losing it about having to wait in line for self checkout. He was arguing loudly with an employee and aggressively shoved a cart as he walked by it. The cart happened to contain a toddler, and the mom absolutely went off on him. Just tore into him. Good for her! Jerk tried to get aggressive with her too and had to be escorted out. My family and I were checking out like 😬 I almost thought a fight would break out.
Makes me think twice about being goofy and silly when out and about with my husband or daughter haha.
I can only imagine what some folks think.
Who cares? Enjoy your time and be silly with them. Life is too short. Also, you might see yourself on one of these vids one day!
Go for it! Who cares? I do silly stuff all the time. It amuses people. Happy to put a smile on someone's face. Life is serious enough - laughing makes you live longer.

I went to WM one time when my oldest son was about 5 y.o. I was checking out the lingerie and he kept saying "Oh, Dad would really love this" or that. Suddenly, there's this woman coming to us and wants to borrow my son for 5 minutes...
Same kid and probably the same age; we're at bulk barn where all the candies are but I'm looking for oats or something. He's asking to get some candies, I say "No, we don't need them; it's not on the list" "OK". There's a woman right there and she said "Wow, that worked" "Well, it's really not on my list and I don't deviate".
Who else in 2021 read the one about the lady being screwed 6 different ways in 2018 and thought "just wait 2 years"?
I'm from Ireland so I've never had the Walmart experience....but it sounds interesting!!!!! To put it mildly!! Hmmm next trip to the USA, Walmart is on the list!!!!

It is a public place so conversations which can be heard by others are public too. It is that simple.
In the restroom at Walmart I was washing my hands before heading back to work.
A mother and her child walked in and the daughter said "it smells like fish in here".
I wanted to laugh, but the mother looked horrified and angry so I dried my hands and left.
where do these people live? I live in GA and have visited several locations here, not to mention the ones I've been to in other states and not once have I heard weird comments. Now I've seen stuff I wish I could forget but I've never heard anything odd
I would wager a lot of these are either made up or a rehash of old jokes, etc. It seems most of these people are trying to diss Walmart, but if they truly overheard this stuff, then they are no better than the people they make fun of , as they patronize the store, too.

"It's not rocket surgery" is something a lot of us say. It's deliberately wrong, combining two sayings. From a TV show originally, I think.
1) Have you ever considered that all of the people who overhear this stuff, and/or take photos of 'people of Walmart' have to be in a Walmart, and that makes them "people of Walmart" as well.
2) what's wrong with frying up a mess of squirrels? admittedly I prefer to make gumbo out of them, but either way squirrels have been hunted and eaten as long as there have been people
3) some horse trailers have bunks in them. some even have full(if small) RV type 'apartments' with kitchenettes and all
Hit the nail on the head. My friend has the horse / rv trailer. It's awesome. We have had some really wonderful trips. Who cares what all those small minded people think. Their loss not ours!

I heard a dumb conversation in the bathroom tonight
2 girls come in the bathroom and while one is peeing and the other ones waiting outside the stall the girl peeing says "OMGGGGggg I just realized something!" Friend "what?" "Walmart has toilet paper on the shelf ANNNdDDD in the bathroom." And that was literally it. Neither of them laughed and nothing else was said they didn't even know I was in the bathroom.
I am so glad, after reading these, that we do not have Walmart in Australia. Is it a place “special” people go to shop?
it's just 'another Department store like 'K Mart, Target, ShopKo if you have/had those... It gets a 'Reputation" for attracting the "Special" because
A. They're Everywhere ... Not a scientific poll, but I looked at the ones in my area and They average One store every ~45 Miles (73 km) so no one is ever that far from one (my town has 2 maybe 5 miles apart)
B. having been a 24 hour store (pre-Pandemic) it became common for people to shop in their PJs (and this trend eventually ceased to be limited to the 'odd hours')
C. 35 Years ago they were relatively 'regional', they've since gone global and seen the aforementioned KMart and ShopKo go under
Too bad. Wally World is one of the most fun experiences. Watching all those degenerates think they are better than you is crazy. They say weird stuff, too. And someone makes a run for it out the fire exit while stealing something every now and then.

These are kind of funny but really I think the people who post them are weirder, like I’m sorry your life is so boring that this is the most fascinating thing you have to post on social media. Maybe your life would be more interesting if you lived it like the people you’re making fun of for being themselves. Different perspectives can be hilarious, especially when uninformed, but honestly I have more respect for the people openly and honestly being themselves and doing what they want than the people hiding behind their phones laughing at and criticizing others when their lives are a boring mess and they hold back so much of themselves because they don’t want to be judged by others the same way they judge people different to them that don’t conform to a mold.
