Yes, this is pretty accurate. To the parent who was trying to teach his kid(s) not to lie and felt like a hypocrite, the series Lie to Me had a useful song about "white lies" that I played for my daughter.
The sad part is,I don't even have a kid,but I understand all of these,and have experienced almost all of them with my siblings (I babysit them ALOT)

I feel like all of these people donfnlike their kids very much.
My mom and dad are foster careers I’ve seen more babies screaming, toddlers and so on, crap in places that make you wonder how in hells name they got it there, screaming, running injury’s to the point were when I have kids I at least know if a wee one is asking for a fire truck that was taken away from them don’t give them it if they’re crying mention the word biscuit if they’re really upset they’ll keep crying if not they’ll smile while trying to say biscuit....
