      Definitely and the hotels do their best to keep the mosquitoes away, the mosquito repellent also helps 😊

    Hi, I love this video!👍. I have been to Pemba Island and it's real paradise and non- touristic place.. . And have you reached to Mbuyuni Beach on the island? It's my #1 beach on the island and in the world too. Ciao, 😜😎👍

    Pemba Island is so safe that when you when locals go to town the don’t put padlock on their doors and if they travel they will leave the keys to their neighbours.

    Did you notice if the waters are as full of sea urchins as Zanzibar, or as tidal? How did you get around (hire a driver? were there tour agencies available to easily book your excusrsions)? I'm planning a trip myself!!! eeee!

    • @brownboytravels
      @brownboytravels  Před rokem

      There were sea urchins at Misali yes but not a crazy amount.
      I arranged everything through the place I stayed, it is a very rural place and I highly doubt there’s some tour agencies around.
      The other option will be to see if you can get a tuktuk from the nearby villages to take you around.

      @@brownboytravels Oh cheers! Which was your favourte: Pemba, mafia, or zanzibar? And what is your honest opinion about these waters (not sure if you went scuba diving around pemba) compared to other island destinations that are also known for their beaches? esp focusing on the quality of the water and aquatic life?

    • @brownboytravels
      @brownboytravels  Před rokem

      For beaches I really liked Pemba, for laidback vibe I loved Magia island.
      I went snorkelling and loved it around Misali (near Pemba). A fellow traveller went for scuba and she loved it there in Misali as well. If you have the time, skip Zanzibar and go to both Pemba and Mafia islands

    You mean is Pemba island better than Unguja island?
    Zanzibar is made of two main islands, Unguja and Pemba.
    But yeah most people call Unguja, Zanzibar.
