The tortoise actually did an eye roll at 18:00 ! Thanks for the virtual tour Mr Singh. I've been to Zanzibar but did not stay in Stone Town or do the prison island tour. Would defo stay in Stone Town next time especially for the food. I loved the food at Luqman's. I had octopus soup and a baobab smoothie for the first time which were both amazing!

I was on Zanzibar in July 2019 and loved it! I enjoyed walking the streets of Stonetown. It has so much charm. I felt like I was in the streets of Europe with the windy, narrow roads but with an African feel to it. The Zanzibar doors were beautiful with Swahili, Arab, and Indian designs. Stunning. I took the ferry over (it was kinda hectic) but then flew back to Dar es Salaam. The view from the prop plane was beautiful! Thanks for the great, informative video. It brought back great memories!

My Grandmother was from Zanzibar and it's really nice to see the place where she grew up.
Her house where she lived is actually a landmark in Zanzibar (C.P Jani Mansion).

I’d recommend you go with both. Not so sure about the exchange rates though

Hey man! Going to Zanzibar after a Kenya safari on September. One doubt: We arrive by plane and we are renting a car for the 8 days we are there. We are staying in a hotel at the east coast, but our intention is to go all arround the isle on car. Would you go to stone town the day we arrive? Is there any parking outside the city?

How long is the ride to the prison island ?
About 25mins. Maybe less
It's a wonderful experience when u can afford a hotel like that. But if u cant pay more than 60$ a day then you're in for a horrible disappointment :( if I knew that I'd never go there.
