Please excuse me while I cry. I used to cycle on these trails (as soon as the metal tracks were removed) when I was "healthier".
I really wish to be fully healthy again. Godspeed.
I used to run along the tracks when I was 18. I’ve missed those days
Godspeed recovery to you and may you be blessed with a healthy life buddy 👍👍
every day I go to school must following this track rail from tanjong pgar to jb..1992-1996..my father ktmb working station master tg pgar stsion..
Probably your father know my father. My father also work with KTM as locomotive driver.
I used to travel from tanjong pagar to KL via over night train, there was accommodated with beds, wonderful experience. They shouldn't ditch that
I never had the chance to ride the ktm trains so watching this is like a dream come true to me!
All my life living in S’pore, I’ve only travelled on the KTM twice. First trip was a night mail train from the Tg Pagar station up to Gemas then switched over to another train to continue our journey to Mentakap in Pahang. Second KTM journey was longer and it started at Butterworth and wound its way down to KL, onwards to JB, crossed the causeway and sped down this same track to Tg Pagar……fond memories 👍🏼😄
Now, this track is just a memories, a good video for future memories :)
Very blissful to have this video as memories. Back then had a close feel of the train at that old malay temple entrance.
I remember using this music buti forgot what this is called because its been 7 years
8:38 Hard to believe what was once a busy station is now an abandoned little building
True😔
True. And in fact for many years since 2011 the station was a little secret kept hidden by few Singaporeans. Unfortunately, more and more people started discovering the station recently, and now the refurbished station is flooded with young adult Instagrammers and TikTokers. Damn it...
Thanks much for the clip azmee!
Watching this almost 10 years later after taking the same route now converted to recreational walking trail, on foot: chooo chooooo chugga chugga chugga chugga
Not to mention the ground vibration when the train passing you
Hmm, assuming that the video was not speeded up at any point, 14 minutes from Woodlands to Tanjong Pagar is pretty quick. No way to achieve that by road.
yes thats right
This was speeded up. Look at the person walking at 0:01
it looks sped up 2x. But 28 minutes is not bad either
I did the calculations (22.7km, total track length divided by 14min) = 97.3km/h average speed
It’s sped up way too much. It looked like it’s doing 150km/h. Those bends done at this speed would’ve derailed the train
Now the tracks are replaced by Green Corrdiro Walk right?
Yep
Semuanya dlm kenangan..
Thanks!
Hi, Mohamed, Is that Bukit Timah Rly.staion where a Train is Halting, and a Stn.Master holding a 'key'?
1:41 is it where the Rainbow Bridge currently stands?
yes now the railtrack is gone
*It's like in Japan*

LAWLS,camera reflection on a tripod
They're demolishing tanjong pagar railway station
I would’ve use KTM from Woodlands 2 Tajong Pagar + KTM IS 103983837373737373773 TIMES FASTER & BETTER THAN SG MRT + I’M NOT GONNA USE SG MRT CUZ:
1. INCONVENIENT CUZ NEED 2 TRANSFER
2. slower than KTM
3. THERE IS KSF TRAINS THERE & THOSE KSF TRAINS R DA SLOWEST & I HATE THEM & SO UNRELIABLE
org nk dgr bunyi engine loko, ada background music..fail lah
Tak bolih... segala perbualan antara kru lokomotip adalah bersifat peribadi dan tak elok diperdengarkan kepada umom...
