- Filmed in the early 2000s, this video gives a glimpse of the KTM in Singapore at Tanjong Pagar terminus and at Bukit Timah station en route to Woodlands. The line is now closed with the service terminating at Woodlands.
My days as a station master at Bukit Timah Railway Station 1998 to 2008...

Brings back so much memories. Thanks for the upload.
Thank you very very much, uncle for your great video! I love KTM Trains and I grown up with them. Thank you very much, uncle.
Beautiful Video,Scene
Enjoying the content on your channel!!😎 You have my like and sub. Looking forward to more great footage. Greetings from Zimbabwe:)
Absolute gem
I hope this railway line can reopen one day, electrified and with KTM Komuter and ETS trains
What a rustic and nostalgic piece of transportation from the early days of Singapore's history! It's a shame that the line is now shut down and abandoned, with no ground-level railways existing in Singapore now. :(
The line has been cut short to Woodlands Train Checkpoint only. So there's about 1.5 km of ground level railway left in Singapore.
you blame Lee Kuan Yew and son for this. for the sake "development" and yet forgets the historical of federation could have been..
but of course, after series of negotiation.. Najib is singapore's ally for this deal
@@HBC101TVStudios after RTS open for operation, i think the shuttle train frm Johor to Singapore will cease operation.
@@TravellingKuro yes but WTCP will be used for Eastern and Oriental Express. Either it's reserved for that or E&O will be terminated at JB
The Intercity Express Trains in this priceless and rare video includes Ekspres Rakyat Number 2 Up en route to Kuala Lumpur and Butterworth/Bagan Tuan Kecil, Ekspres Timuran Number 15 Down en route from Tumpat, as well as Local Mail Train Number 58 Up en route to Gua Musang.

I kind of miss the Jurong Railway, I not sure if anyone got record footages of the train turning to Jurong in the 1970s
Yeah the KTM railway lines in Singapore have been converted into the Rail Corridoe Walkway in 2011 cos the tracks belong to Malaysia.
Why the ydm4 locomotive is really short of that height?
6:03 why different signage?
6:38 chicken crossing the railroad (now it's the Rail Corridor Walk)
Hi John, Enjoyed watching SG Trains.Tnks. Well Whats the full form of KTM?
Sorry for the delay. It stands for Keretapi Tanah Melayu - that's the Malaysian national railways on Peninsular Malaysia.
Today, the corridor is now a trial
I think it should be in 2002?
I've checked the video clips and they have the date as 2000 - 17 & 18 July.
@@JohnRaby Its so beautiful vlog, Thankyou for sharing
I don't think that's 2020
You're right. If you read the description, you'll see that it's the early 2000s. The line is now closed.
@@JohnRaby yes, sadly
@@JohnRaby it's closed and replaced by Rail Corridor footpath.
