  • The only rail line to Dubrovnik was 760mm narrow gauge. Trains once ran all the way from Belgrade via Sarajevo, the journey taking about 2 days. The bit south from Belgrade to Pozega was converted to standard gauge in the early '70s. The bit to Dubrovnik closed in 1976. .

      @@davidkoehler136 The entire network was dismantled from about 1976 to the 1980s. Only a few small stretches of what was once the largest continuous narrow gauge railway remain.
