    Great video! My grandpa got me into woodworking and I have my own shop now. Love going out and building trucks, I am going to add a dozer and whatever else that I can put tracks on. Thank you for sharing.

    Love the model bulldozer. I was worried when you got up on ladder. The tracks looked well built and you definitively proved they are!

    Hi Brian, really enjoying your videos, I am retired welder but also enjoy working with wood. Just bought toys and joys log skidder to build for my brother in law. Stumbled across your videos and enjoy your laid back style and sense of humor! thanks for posting.

      I bought that book and started out building some of the models, very nice book. However there is allot of precise dimensions. Not necessary when working with wood. After that I went with just using pictures. advantage you can make any model quickly and looks great.
      You can figure out things as you go along, Good book to start with though. Did you see the skidder that I made from a picture? It might be on another site, lumberjocks.com/bushmaster The first projects I posted there where from that book.
      I taught metal and mechanics, do metal and wood now at home.

    You make it look easy.. You are a craftsman sir. Do you build with any plans?

    • @brianprocter3031
      @brianprocter3031 Před 6 lety +1

      |No I don't use plans, just a picture, and go from there, Solve things as I go along. My construction method are simple, Full size picture, copy machines are great

      I thought I replied to the question on how I did the radius, actually I stood the board on end and cut in on the bandsaw and then smoothed it up on the spindle sander. Then cut it to size and glued a cutting edge on of a different colored wood,. The table saw would work, make a fence to slide it along and then adjust the angle to get the radius you want.
