My wife died a few days ago hit by a bridge (sat atop carriage roof), he says it just matter a fact, like he had lost his sandals. Takes you aback & how women are valued in the lower orders.
The translation is not accurate. The person described an incident that occurred sometime earlier where a woman got hit by the bridge because she was careless and died. It had nothing to do with his wife.

These countries that they do these videos on don't do basic spending on infrastructure. Bangladesh is not so poor that they can't get more trains to run on the railways built for them by the British. Most countries aren't lucky enough to have a rail system built for them...adding trains to it is the easy part.

Imagine that ,....50 million people , while Bangladesh has no sewage treatment to speak of, Dhaka's raw sewage is mostly disposed off in rivers and the sea ; an environmental disaster . Which ironically doesn't prevent an explosive population increase.
These people in their hellish train ride expect their suffering will be payed for with "heaven" .
This dependence on fairy tales is just what those in power depend on to keep the masses pacified , and will keep them from demanding their fair share in the here and now . In the meantime most of the few taxes government earns , goes to the military.
The ijtema is not a pilgrimage, it is in fact a meeting or gathering of people where they inform the people about the teachings of the religion.
Watching these documentaries you see a lot of poverty, but this one shows the most appalling living conditions yet.

Isn't it obvious, in normal countries you honk at bad drivers. All that honking means there's alot of bad drivers meaning they clearly never learned to drive. Like follow traffic laws, stop for pedestrians, stop signs, red lights etc.etc.
