My husband and I lived in Kyrgyzstan for a year (I'm from the US and he is from West Africa) and I loved watching your video because it was so nostalgic! Lagman was my favorite and Plof was his favorite (especially from Navat!) We lived in Shopokov which is an hour outside of Bishkek but we went into the city every weekend. Thank you so much for showing the beauty of this country and sharing it with the world! And honestly in terms of safety, don't walk through Bishkek late at night on the illegal phone corner carrying Papa John's Pizza... Otherwise, it is quite safe! I have also had some great conversations with (mostly old) ladies on marshrutkas and they have always been pleasant! Thank you so much for making this video!
True ..i have spent even 6 years there I knew the better dark side of the KG.simply Dangerous for tourists and foreign students especially at dawn.

Doesn’t sound like your from London;) Bishkek is far safer than London. Apart from the roads which ave very dangerous and most taxis have no seatbelts. Apart from that one of safest places for tourists in the world. Scams are almost non existent also
