  • This is a look back on Amar'e Stoudemire's career. Amar'e Stoudemire was dynamite on the court as he was a power forward slash center who had the size and strength to go with quickness. Creating a rare combo while also having the mentality of I’m going to tear the rim off on every dunk attempt I get. Always attacking the opponent, he faced playing fearless. With Stoudmire going on to create one of the most lethal duos in league history with him and Steve Nash as apart of the suns seven seconds or less offense. Out pacing teams and being deadly in the pick and roll together. Though most remember Stoudemire for his pick and rolls. He could also post players up often facing them up and scoring however he pleased and was a good midrange shooter having the ability to pick and pop with Nash. Leading to Stoudmire becoming a 6-time all-star, 5-time all-NBA player, and rookie of the year. All while helping the suns make a couple of conference finals. Before heading to the Knicks continuing his elite form before injuries caught up to him at the end of his career.

Man, if only Deandre Ayton could’ve had just a tiny percentage of that same aggression and effort that Amare showed. Some guys just have it and some guys don’t.

Damn. He had only been playing organized basketball for 4 or 5yrs before getting drafted. And did it playing on multiple high school teams in those years.

0:57 I remember watching that game live against Golden State. It was a back n forth 4th Q with the crowd way into it. When he threw it down over Tolliver, the whole arena just went “oooohhh!” Pretty awesome

He was a poor man’s Blake Griffin

He was better than Griffin. Amare was a playoff riser. Blake’s game was stagnant and even fell off in the playoffs.
