To be honest, at first I was skeptical about Clancy's album cover.
But it does exudes a unique and meaningful atmosphere.
Its clumsy and aged collage appearance gives the impression of a revolutionary artistic work, created in a hurry. Imperfection is actually its charm. This "DIY" aesthetic evokes a feeling of spontaneity, in contrast to the visual perfection of their previous album cover for Scaled and icy. While the latter was characterized by bright colors and precise, almost too perfect drawing, the new cover seems deliberately raw.
This portends an album full of authenticity and creative power. (so I love it) (I love your reaction to overcompensate it was literally me yesterday haha freaking out)

I know some people dont like the album cover but i think you have to realize where we are in the story - Clancy literally writes everything with a typewriter so if hes going to put posters and art together to help organize a rebellion then its going to look like that...its not going to be well polished

at first I didn’t understand, but I revisit the story, the album cover makes so much sense. Has a revolution vibe to it and when you line it up with the other albums it actually fits so perfectly. it’s grown on me already. I’m excited to see how this plays out. this album is about a return and revenge. it’s an inner ear!

Also, let's dissect the red tape just a little bit.
We know that red is the color of the Bishops, right? And the whole reason that Trench and the Banditos color was yellow was because as we know from Clancy's journals, the Bishops can't see yellow. So why the red tape now? Why all this red?
It's because they're READY to be SEEN now. They WANT the Bishops to know they're coming.
Also, the album being called Clancy is a DIRECT parallel to Blurryface. The first chapter in this saga was named after Clancy's Bishop, and now the last chapter in this saga is named after Clancy himself. It's definitely less goofy when you realize that. Now this is Clancy's rise and Dema's downfall. From the villain to the hero.
